All Balls Racing Carburetor Rebuild Kit 26-1629 Compatible With/Replacement For Honda GL1500C 1997-2000

Everything I needed to completely refresh my carbs. Cleaned each carb in an US heated cleaner with simple green degreaser, installed the new gaskets and jets and float valves, bought a torque screwdriver and a D screwdriver to do the job right, those silicone trays to keep it all organized, and a digisync for when I was done to such the six carbs on my Valkyrie. Bike fired right up and after synch was perfectly smooth. Now I help folks in my community on weekends when I have time because carbs aren’t as scary or complex/mystical as people make them seem. You can do this!

I received a carb rebuild kit that was only enough for 2 of my 6 carburetors. The images for the product show what I expected to receive in quantity. After contacting the seller they were quick to correct the issue without any question! I would buy from them again.

Disappointed.... First: Working with these small/detailed parts you'd think it would be packaged/organized better for the do-it-yourselfer. There is not a single parts list included to reference where these are used at, its strictly process of elimination and comparing size. You dump out the bag of (say) "rubber" components, then start sorting and looking at an exploded view of the carbs in the shop manual before you dig in & hope what you need is there. Many are obvious, but still its terribly unorganized. 4 "bag-o-parts" with no parts list you get to sort out. Next, out of 6 carb bowl gaskets, I could only use 4 supplied. 2 were pre-stretched beyond use/no way they'd fit in the groove even with some gasket compound to help hold in place until installed (can't "unstretch" rubber). I re-used 2 bowl gaskets. Next, the 12 tiny o-rings used on the air cut-off valve brass jets (2 per carb) were too large. Absolutely no way/method of using these. Had to re-use all 12 old o-rings. Next, the little rubber tips meant to protect the delicate idle air screws had fallen off 2 in transport, exposing the tips for damage. Its cheaper than buying Honda OEM, but when you dig into 6 carbs and find out parts won't fit, your committed to getting the project done then & there instead of waiting for replacement parts. I had to reuse old parts & cross my fingers. I've also seen/used the "Parts Unlimited" brand of this kit & am fairly certain they are one in the same, just different labels. The "All Balls" part# is also on the "Parts Unlimited" label...

Good price, worked well

First issue the 6 long stems do not match original OEM parts, the heads are different look closely at the comparison of the original, you then have to buy OEM which are much more expensive. Secondly, one of large main Carb gaskets did not seal and leaked fuel due to defect in the rubber. To remedy, we ended up using one of the old ones. Very disappointing when I choose to purchase these directly from Honda of Houston at a cost of $2 more, who recommended them thinking I can't go wrong.
