Dakota Grizzly Men's Kenyon Long-Sleeve Fishing Shirt

Dear Sawtooth Sales,The customer service was fine, no problems.However, I wanted to let you know some items about the shirt. I hope you will forward my comments to Dakota Grizzly.(1) The zippered security pocket is too deep, making it very difficult to retrieve a Flow Fold lightweight wallet from the pocket. I know the pocket is designed to be a pouch to contain the shirt for packing, but that makes little sense to me. I corrected the problem by sewing across the inside pocket/pouch creating a seam, and a less-deep pocket, one that is the correct depth for using the pocket as a travel-security pocket (passport and wallet).(2) The single-button cuff closure has the shirt sleeves falling down to my fingers. There should be two buttons, in my opinion, to allow the sleeves to end at the wrist. Admittedly, I do not have large paws, so this feature might not be needed for extra large men. I sewed on an addition button on each sleeve at the wrist closure to allow for adjustment of the sleeves.(3) I was looking for a solid-color shirt with a horizontal-zipper security pocket for travel. I own two ExOfficio and one other Dakota Grizzly shirt, all with the zippered security pocket, but these shirts are a different blend of fabric, NOT 100% nylon. I wore the Dakota Grizzly Kenyon shirt yesterday on a trip from San Jose to LA and back in one day. The 100% nylon was not comfortable for travel; I was sticking to the aircraft seat from perspiration accumulating in the nylon fabric. I knew this was a fishing shirt going into the purchase, so testing the fabric, as a proof-of-concept for travel, was my goal. Test completed: 100% nylon fails.On a positive note, the functionality of the shirt design with the zippered security pocket (with some modification) is excellent for travel. If I could find the same shirt design in a high-cotton, comfortable blend, I would purchase several.I'm giving the shirt only one star because of comfort. As an Amazon frequent buyer, I tend to look only at the one-star ratings with the assumption that the rest of the ratings are somewhere between okay and great, and there is just too much to read, otherwise. However, as a fishing shirt, as designed, it should receive more stars for design.Thank You,BN Jones

Love the feel of the fabric, was a bit resistant to rain and was very breathable.I hope to wear on my upcoming hiking venture with multiple weather scenarios and see how it fares.Purchased a variety of colors and am looking to purchase some in short sleeves.As of now, am very pleased with the purchase and will return for more purchases in the near future.

Great shirt, but size is way off. I am normally a 2XL, but sometimes fit into XL. I ordered the XXL shirt and it is sized smaller than almost every XL shirts that I own.Fortunately, this will fit my father in law who wears Large. We had him measure his currrent large shirt and it matched this XXL exactly. This is a very nice shirt for outdoor use. Comfortable lightweight fabric, nice look, and cool pockets and vents.Sadly, the sizing info is WAY off!

I'm not a tall man, but I am broad. At 5'9" I have a 72in wing span from finger to finger, and the one thing that ever shirt I buy lacks is long enough arms and broad enough shoulders.The Dakota Grizzly brand is one of two brands I've found that fit both my arms, shoulders and don't look like a Moomoo.Be warned - Dry on Gentle, it will pill and cause little floof balls to appear on your wonderful new shirt. We can't have that.

I really like this shirt. Very comfy and the vents are really helpful in the heat. I sometimes use this shirt for climbing and find it to be a bit restrictive in the shoulder area. I definitely do not have full mobility and the shirt begins to pull back when my arms are above my head.Also, the sleeves are very baggy. I prefer to have them rolled up because it looks a bit goofy with the sleeves rolled down.

If you are looking for a shirt that always looks fresh and never wrinkled, this is it. My husband has 3 of these and even the older ones still look new. Great color as the yellow is not too bright. They wash and dry quickly and it seems that with a little effort, stains just disappear.

Colors are good. It's comfortable. The cut is a little baggy and the sleeves only have one button near the wrist so it's hard to roll the sleeves up properly.

This shirt is light weight, quick dry and super comfortable. I own a few of these and they are very durable if you take care of them (cold water wash, no heat dry). I ruined my first one in the dryer on high heat, so be careful. I highly recommend for any outdoor activities.
