I will admit the other reviews on this item will make you skeptical. However, I took a lot of time with this item before writing this. The first watch I received did stop working after just an hour. I requested a replacement because the reviews made me worried. The company sent out another one with next day delivery. It was easy. Meanwhile I checked the battery on the original. That was the problem. It was dead. Easy fix. I fixed the first one and sent it back. The second one was fine. It worked great, but again the battery needed replacing. When I tried to put the back on with the little watch hammer the decorative pieces fell off. This is not supposed to be loose. I noticed another review said that they were loose. They are not. If you get it loose request a replacement. So yes, the company sent a third. It is perfect. It also came next day delivery. I know this makes this item sound bad but it is not. A battery change is a self-fix, costs maybe $5. The watch is adorable. It serves it's purpose. It's high quality leather. Nice overall. It also seems to be fairly water proof. Of course I'm not going to test it fully but I have gotten it wet a lot and it works fine.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my friend who is going to college to be a dentist. She absolutely loves it and said that watches are the only "jewelry" she was allowed to wear in class.

Got this as a gift for my daughter ,who is a hygienist, she says it goes dead several times a day,when wearing it.Has to reset it. Its suspose to work or" rewind" itself as your arm is moved.She says it simply does not work as described,she is continually moving her arm,and it still has to be reset during day..Maybe I got the only bad one made, but I have to give it a one star..She says its a very good conversation piece, that's all..

Got it for my sister who is in her 2nd year of dental school. She loves it!! The only thing I expected that was different is that the charms are fixed on the face and not free floating. Overall a hit!

I had bought another of these watches before, and it worked fine. Now, this one, does not work at all!!As I read the comments it looks like the battery is the problem. I don't think it's ok that a new watch has to be taken to repair because of the battery.It was a gift for a friend and she is so dissapointed:-(
