Eyeko Beach Waterproof Mascara - Volume & Lift - Coconut Oil-infused - Vegan 8ml

This is my favorite mascara. It is truly waterproof and does not smear when swimming. It washes off with a good facial cleanser and does not leave marks on your pillow. This mascara lasts 8-12 hours easily. It goes on without clumps and does not make your lashes stick together.

I love this mascara. It drys quickly so it doesn’t get on my eye lid like other mascaras. Builds to make my lashes long and smooth. It is actually waterproof and stays on in the water.

I was hesitant to purchase as the price is waaayyyy more than I would normally spend on mascara. But I haven't been able to find a product that is truly water/smudge proof so gave it a try. I'm glad I did as this stuff is legit. I have to wear a face mask all day at work and every other brand I tried resulted in light black smudge marks under my eyes due to the moisture and heat. But with this product there is absolutely no color transfer even after 12+ hours of wear. I find it surprisingly easy to apply and remove. The key to application is using a light hand and having a dry spoolie available for touch ups. To remove I simply rub on some coconut oil (oil based makeup remover would also work), let it sit while I brush my teeth and then gently wipe with a warm wet washcloth. If I applied two coats of mascara then I usually need to repeat the removal process. I apply my oil based eye serum when I go to bed, and voila- magically gone by morning. It's actually easier to remove than some other brands I've tried. The cherry on top is that this is a really nice mascara. My lashes resist curling at all costs, but this doesn't weigh them down. The result is a nice curled lash with a rich dark color and added length. It can clump the lashes if you're not careful, but that's easily avoided using proper application techniques. The only negative is that it does take some patience to both apply and remove. But that's a small price to pay for a mascara that performs so well on the eye.

Okay I am going to try to keep this short but there is so many great things to say about this mascara! First off I have worn waterproof mascara my whole life (I’m 43). My mom did as well as my grandmother. My mom taught me waterproof mascara is the only way to go and always remove it with baby oil. Well all waterproof mascara starts to flake off but it’s better then raccoon eyes is what momma said. I have always wanted an actual waterproof mascara that doesn’t come off. Always looking for one with no success. Especially now that I work outside in Texas humidity and sweat it off. My eyelashes are blonde so without mascara I just look scary. Well I stumbled on this mascara and gave it a try. First off this is actually waterproof mascara so if that’s not what u want then this isn’t for you. I have worked in rain all day and go home and still have beautiful eyelashes. So surprised after a 9 hour day to see that at least my eyelashes still look good lol. I have put this mascara to every test and it does not come off which is exactly what I wanted. A few things to know and what I have learned from other reviews and experience. A lot of bad reviews are because they cant get it this mascara to come off. I have no problem with getting it off as long as I use baby oil. I do suggest making sure u remove it every night. I used to wear it to bed and just touch up the next day only removing every other night. If u do this u eventually will lose a few eyelashes bc this mascara does stay on so good when u sleep that it’s bye bye eyelashes. Another thing is when it starts to clump when applying don’t discard it. All you need to do is wipe down (no water) your brush. I use a paper towel to clean it with. Then its good as new (no more clumping). Now to just state the things I love most about this mascara. Longer fuller beautiful eyelashes. It dries so fast it rarely even gets marks on your eye lids. Since it does dry so fast I definitely recommend not pumping your brush several times or taking to long to apply before reinserting the brush back into the tube bc it will dry your brush out quicker. Also I used to carry my mascara with me in case I wanted to reapply it throughout the day. First you will not need to reapply it bc it’s will still look exactly the same at the end of the day. Second I don’t think it’s good to sit in a hot car bc it also makes it dry out. Finally I just want to say I never write reviews so for me to write this means I really love this mascara. My friends tell me I should be a spokesman for them bc I cant quit saying good things about it. You just need to know the above things to make sure it last as long as possible and u can remove it without losing any eyelashes. Once u do that then the days of not having mascara on by the end of the day are gone! I hope this helps anyone that truly is looking for a waterproof mascara.

PROS: This is absolutely smudge & waterproof and adds long lasting length to lashes. CONS: It’s slightly expensive, sticky and lashes dry very hard, it’s difficult to remove micellar water is a must. Lashes can break if removing product by scrubbing.

I really can’t say enough good things about this mascara. I watched a video review where someone wore this during a workout, followed by a swim, and shower only for her lashes to look spectacular. This is what sold me on the mascara and I felt compelled to write my first positive review on Amazon. I bought this for a Caribbean vacation and knew that not only did I want something to last through water sports but also the sun and humidity. But I was blown away with how well this mascara performed. The photo is after about 32 hours of wear, salty ocean water, sweat, and finally a shower. Maybe I shouldn’t have left it on for 24+ hours, but while on vacation I just relaxed and didn’t put much thought into taking it off at the end of the day. Lone behold, I woke up ready to go looking like I just did my lashes and I just kept wearing the mascara with no complaints. My mom even asked if I had put on fakes! It comes off easily with the Garnier micellar water, also pictured. You just have to run your lashes through a cotton pad with the micellar water and voila! It takes a little more effort than your standard wipe-and-done makeup wipe, but I had no issues. When showering or in the water, I wouldn’t rub my eyes. I found the one time I did, my lashes would clump together a little bit but the mascara would stay put. So yes, the mascara does its job, but if you want to keep the lash separation and fresh look for a long time, just don’t rub your lashes when they’re wet. I also found my lower lash line would smudge after 24+ hours of wear more so than my upper lash line, for whatever reason, but I never looked like a rabid raccoon. I have worn this at home now after my trip and can safely say it will last through tears, even an ugly cry. Again, I didn’t rub my lashes after crying, so they stayed separated and immaculate. I will be using Eyeko mascara forever now and can’t wait to try their regular formula. The price is comparable to most good drugstore formulas and the longevity is unbeatable, leaving me no choose but to kick my tried and true Maybelline to the curb.

I love this brand and have their original mascara so I was excited to try out this formula. I will say it definitely stays on and did not flake off or run during a 14 hr work shift. However it hardens to your lashes as you apply and left them very heavy. It did not add to length and it is very difficult to feather your lashes to allow for more volume. Once applied I noticed my lashes would stick together constantly during the day and I had to take a lash comb and break them apart-- which was tough! It pulled on my lashes because it was so thick and felt like cement. I have tried a different tactic and applied a layer of the original first and then very lightly apply this as a second coat and it seems to help...a little. In order to remove the mascara at the end of the day none of my tried and true makeup removers would work. I had to coat my lashes with a thick layer of Ponds and let it sit for a few minutes and then gently scrape the mascara off each lash using warm water. Even then I still had to go back over the lashes with another dose of makeup remover. My poor eyes were raw and many lashes sacrificed themselves. Ultimately I am giving three stars because what they advertise is true.. this stuff is definitely waterproof and would survive any beach trip.

I’ve been buying this stuff for like 6 years and I love it. It’s truly waterproof and still applies smooth and looks good. I like putting it on top of other mascaras too when I want a bolder look but still want to lock everything in. Just be sure you have a waterproof eye makeup remover. I put it on my sister one time and she was pissed because she really couldn’t get it off! 😬😅

Diese Mascara hält wirklich lange und bombenfest im Meer und macht wirklich schöne lange und volle Wimpern ohne zu verschmieren - keinerlei Panda! Das einzige, was man beachten muss ist, dass die Wimpern vorher gut gereinigt, fettfrei und trocken sind. Sonnencreme oder ähnliches fetthaltiges muss man VOR der Mascara auftragen und erst 10min einziehen und gut trocknen lassen, bevor man die Mascara aufträgt. Darauf achten, dass keine Sonnencreme auf den Wimpern selbst landet, sondern nur auf der Haut bis kurz vor den Wimpernkranz. Macht man das nicht oder trägt die Sonnencreme erst nach der Mascara aufs Auge oder die Sonnencreme kommt mit den bereits getuschten Wimpern in Berührung kann sich die Mascara natürlich durch den Fettanteil der Sonnencreme wieder anlösen und wenn man gleich anschließend ins Wasser geht, kann das natürlich den Panda machen. Das gleiche gilt, wenn man sich vermalt hat. Dann sollte man nicht mit einem ölhaltigen Reiniger versuchen die Flecken zu entfernen, sondern nur mit Mizellwasser und Wattestäbchen vorsichtig korrigieren. Abends sollte man die Mascara dann aber tatsächlich auch entfernen mit einem ölhaltigen Reiniger. Denn je länger man sie drauflässt (z.B. mehrere Tage), desto starrer und trockener wird die Mascara (Gefahr, dass Wimpern abbrechen) und dann lässt sie sich auch immer schwerer sogar mit ölhaltigen Entfernern ablösen. Wenn die Mascara dann doch mal länger drauf war als sie sollte, dann Wattepads mit ölhaltigem Augenmakeupentferner tränken, auf die geschlossenen Augen legen und die Wimpern damit eine Weile so lange einweichen, bis sich die Mascara wieder gut entfernen lässt, evtl wiederholen.
