EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!
After 37 years of marriage, four kids, and three grandchildren (so far) I finally realized the need for an ice bag. Crazy right? We never really had the need for one, fortunately. Growing up our kids didn't get hurt to the point where they needed an ice bag. Now, I'm the one who needs the ice bag, and often. I've been using large Ziploc bags, doubled, with a dish towel wrapped around it. It never really occurred to me to just buy an ice bag. I recently had oral surgery and boy did I need that ice bag. Six straight days with that thing on my face for at least 12 hours a day. The Ziploc bags did work but honestly it was a hassle putting the whole thing together, was not comfortable and I could not really feel the coolness of the ice coming through. So while I sat here with my version of an ice pack I decided it was finally time to order one. I went with the Mueller because of their reputation and I wanted a bag that was not made in China regardless of the price. I diligently try not to purchase anything from China unless I absolutely have to. The Mueller ice bag is very well made, high quality. It has a plastic liner so there is no water leaking through and the bag does not sweat. The ice fits perfectly through the opening and the cap closes nicely. The ice lasts for a long time and when you take it off and put it down somewhere, you don't have to worry about it marking up your table or leaving a wet spot on your couch, bed, etc. It was also very comfortable on my face. I would highly recommend the Mueller ice bag.

Simple, effective, and easy to use for pain relief
This reusable ice bag is a simple but very effective option for cold therapy. Itโs easy to useโjust fill it with ice, secure the cap, and apply it directly to the area. The wide opening makes filling it quick and hassle-free. The 9-inch size is a good middle ground. Itโs large enough to cover areas like the knee, shoulder, or back, but still compact and portable enough to keep in a gym bag or at home. Itโs especially useful for injuries, soreness, or even headaches. The material feels durable, and the inner lining helps prevent leaks while keeping the outside relatively dry. It also stays flexible, so it molds well around different body parts instead of feeling stiff like some gel packs. One thing to keep in mind is that since it uses real ice, youโll need access to ice each time, unlike freezer packsโbut that also means it can stay colder longer. Pros: -Easy to fill and use -Good size for different body areas -Flexible and comfortable to apply -Portable and reusable Cons: -Requires ice (not grab-and-go like gel packs) -Can get slightly damp on the outside over time Overall: A reliable, no-frills ice pack that works very well for injuries and pain relief. Great to keep on hand for everyday use or post-workout recovery.

This beats ziplocks and tube socks anyday!
Okay I don't usually use tube socks anymore but they do work in a pinch. I suffer from frequent migraines and neckpains so I go to bed or to a chair with a refreezable icepack or a ziplock of ice very frequently. The refreezable icepacks are alright, they are never "too cold", they don't leak, but they also dont stay cold long, <1hr. The ziplock and towel/sock works but it can be easy to make it "too cold", and all too frequently even double bagged - they'll leak. This thing is really the perfect solution. It is lined to be water tight, has a water tight gasket on the top, and NEVER leaks. I usually add maybe a dozen ice cubes, and a little (~8oz) cool -> warm water. Depends on how long I want it to last and how cool I want it to be. Generally if I'm using it for my head I don't want it ice cold, so the warm water helps. Water in it also helps conform to my heads shape and "wrap" around it instead of just hard cubes that are touching here and there. I don't even fill it up halfway for headaches to minimize the weight/pressure on the head, and I make sure I squeeze all air out before sealing it up. I can keep one of these cold for at least a couple hours that way. If you're using it for other injuries like a knee, and you just fill it with straight ice - it'll stay cold for probably 4+hrs. The only thing I might want is a bit larger one just for my head. It does have a tendency to slip off my forehead usually within a couple hours (I am an extremely still back sleeper), I think a bit large of one that would go off the sides of the head would not only cover more spots but also provide more stability.

Saves freezer space
Great to have on hand for the occasional ache or pain. The bag provides flexibility that most ice packs lack, water can be added along with the ice to increase flexibility, and it can be emptied for easy storage. Best of all, doesnโt take up limited freezer space.

My Favorite Ice Pack
This was perfect for my jaw after a recent tooth extraction. I tried other ice packs, but all were hard and uncomfortable. They were just hard blocks of ice. They were so cold I had to wrap them in a towel, and they were terrible. This remained soft and pliable. I was able to mold it to my face. It stayed cold for hours, and it didn't leak after the ice melted. I suffer from migraines, and this will be perfect to take when I travel. It's small and lightweight and will fit in my suitcase. Just fill up with ice from the ice machine for relief.

Better than others like this
This ice bag is, by far, the best ice pack Iโve ever had. Iโve had constant 24/7 headpain for 10+ years because of a car accident, so Iโm very familiar with ice packs- from the white hospital kind with the blue โlockโ to all sorts of soft pre-manufactured freezer-ice-gizmos to the homemade alcohol and water variety, and lots in between, including others like this style. This one is different, and is always my go-to favorite. Hereโs why: FABRIC: Itโs a silkier fabric than others of this type that makes it very moldable. It can tend to be more slippery because of that, but I get much better coverage that way. The slippage isnโt a problem for me, just that I notice it. I still balance it fine on the top of my head and donโt need any extra accessories for holding in place, but maybe depending on where you needed it and how active you wanted to be while using it, just FYI. COLDER: I swear this icebag is colder as well. Fabric? Moldability (pretty sure not a word) factor? Not sure, and while Iโm curious, Iโm not gonna spend any more time speculating on what I obviously cannot know. Itโs also quite possible that this is my perception, but itโs my review and I, thus, get to share my own opinion. I do refer back to my vast icepack knowledge, though, and Iโm pretty sure itโs colder...somehow. NO LEAKING: This icebag has not leaked for me at all. Iโve had others that if left too long, or on an unsteady surface, would leak from the top, or over time would leak or โbleedโ through the fabric itself. In fairness, any icebag or pack I use sees a LOT of use and Iโm sure they can only handle so much. They are man-made, after all, and I manhandle them! I havenโt had it too long- around a month or so (???) But I use it regularly and heavily- maybe not quite daily, but almost. I can safely say 5x per week for hours (on and off). Iโll have ice or water (due to melting) in this bag all day on many occasions as I continue to refill it throughout the day and have no problems leaking or bleeding. The color will change in parts to a darker blue (which the manufacturer/seller said was normal), so it can look wet, but isnโt. I do let it air-dry good and well between uses though, for any tiny bit that might be worth. I hope itโs more helpful than long and rambling. But thatโs the chance I take, thatโs how my brain works (or doesnโt so well?) I rarely stop to write reviews, but I do read them and depend on them. This product was remarkable enough to make me remember to write the review. Plus, Iโm wearing it; it seemed appropriate.

Great Ice Pack
Great ice pack. The best part is it absorbs the condensation. My son plays sports and uses it all the time and holds up well. Opening is big enough to accommodate ice cubes.

Great to travel with.
Needed to ice knees after surgery. Took on vacation with me and filled with ice after walking all day to help keep swelling down. Made caring for knee easier since not at home where more convenient.

Surprisingly good
I don't think I have seen many Australians using an ice bag. But I got this one to try and it is amazing. Make sure you leave it to dry after use and it will last for ages.

Excellent Leak Proof and Condensation Proof Ice Bag
I am extremely impressed with this product. Once filled with ice it cools properly and does not leak at all. The bag is neither wet nor is there any condensation. It just allows the cooling ice to do its work. The cap is a screw top and also does not leak at all. Worth every penny.
