Excellent product for sensitive dogs
My dog was admitted to emergency vet hospital and released after 2 nights. He had blocked intestines and inflamed organs. 3 days after his release he showed the same symptoms and I took him back. They did Nothing, MRI, said still blocked and unflammed and thrn sent him home! I called a different emergency vet hospital. And took him there. They said he would not have survived a day if I hadn’t brought him. He was there 1 1/2 weeks. They. Got the blockage out and body systems calmed and then experimented to see if this food would work. It did! He has been on this as prescription diet with sweet potatoes for treats for 1 1/2 years now and is thriving. His ear fringe is growing since he isn’t scratching his ears and his fur is soft and shining (papillon) he has had no more crise my hearing dog is super sensitive due to having been fed Dogswell chicken jerky {which should have been recalled) whenhe was in training. This food has made all the difference and I highly recommend it. I only wish the seller still offered the larger bags. We freeze it to save money. Thanks for an excellent product.

Great food for our sensitive dog
We adopted a beautiful pointer-hound mix who seems to be having stomach issues with certain foods. Until we find out what exactly he is allergic to, we are using this dry food and our beautiful pooch . He is doing very well with this food, and that makes us and him very happy. You do need a prescription or ok from your vet and the food is expensive, but our pooch is a member of our family and he is worth it.

My golden doodle loves it.
My doodle loves it. Been eating it for 3 years. The downside is the cost. He needs it for his stomach issues.

My SD is allergic to everything. This is the only commercial food he can handle!

So far So good
So far so good. My dog literally pulls out her hair, scratching, chewing on herself creating sores that requires antibiotics to clear up. She has also been on prednisone several times. I hate having her on drugs all the time. I have tried a variety of things with little success. My vet suggested changing her diet (she was on a fish based diet). Still on my first bag, but no new sores, no drugs and I have cut back on the omega 3 supplements she was taking. And she likes the food!

Grrrrr.
Ridiculous that you have to get a vet to sign off on food... not just once but every order. So very annoying

Overpriced!
Sorry I gave you one star…should be no stars I can’t believe this price…for such a small bag…I’ve bought this same food at the vets and paid $180.00 for the large 25 lb bag I thought this bag was the 25 lb bag too…much to my surprise it was the small bag…shocking.
