Can anyone verify that you can still equalize underwater with these earplugs?

I always wear these while free diving and have gone down 50ft. These help me equalize my ears better underwater.

What’s the secret for putting them in. Mine fell out and I am getting water in one ear

I've found that when mine fell out, I needed to switch to the bigger rubber pieces. No problems since.

do these work well for white water kayaking? Do they stay in when you roll in turbulent water?
