I usually don't write reviews, but I would like to share my thoughts about this product since I started taking this. My hair has been thinning gradually since I started taking medication for a thyroid disorder. I would see hair on the back of my shirts, and I could tell how much thinner my ponytails were. So, I read that after a certain age or for medical reasons, our bodies stop producing silica. I went online to Amazon and found some, and this has horsetail root which will enhance the hair follicles to "wake up..." I started taking one in the morning and one in the evening. I didn't notice anything after the first month, but after the second month, I could see what I thought was a little broken hair. I didn't think much of it until I noticed that I wasn't seeing much hair in my hairbrush. By the end of three months, what I thought was broken hair was actually new hair growing. I took my comb and started going through my whole head. Lo and behold...my hair was growing in places that hadn't seen hair for awhile..I'm on my fourth bottle and in my sixties and loving the results that I'm seeing. Almost an inch after three months is awesome for me. As long as I can buy this product, I will be a very happy customer!

I waited for 2 months before writing this review. I am totally happy with this one. My hair has quit falling out alot and my habits haven't changed. Everything in my life is the same. So, it must be the KAL. I am still using the supplement. I am totally happy with it.

So far they seem great

I'm near the end of my first bottle. I was taking it to stop the hair fall-out Ive experienced off and on for 14 years. Lo and behold, I began to notice my nails look really good and healthy. I have absolutely nothing on my nails in the pic. No polish, no nail product at all. (Please forgive my rough cuticles.) By this length, at least 1-4 nails have usually broken or split. I have a thumb nail (not on this hand shown) that always splits right down the middle. Never gets to grow long. I can still slightly see the split, but it has not opened up, which would then cause me to cut it off. So, yeah, that's progress. Still waiting to see miracles with my hair loss issue. I do think it's coming out less, however, not enough to report it as impressive yet.

Works. My hair,nails and skin showed significant improvement after 4 weeks of using. Would buy again.

These KAL Silica tablets are working to help my hair growth. Added to other B vitamins, this supplement is working great! My hair is growing in and is thicker, slowly, but it is working. All the ingredients in this supplement are excellent.

I am on my third bottle giving this product ample time to help with what it was going to do. So, after about 6 months I can say my hair is no better in terms of hair shininess and density. My skin all over seems no better, and my nails in the last month have begun peeling, bending, breaking. This is the worst condition they have been in my entire long life. I was hoping just one thing would be improved and I would continue to take it so, after this bottle I will not continue. Only positive I can say is that it doesn't seem to bother my stomach or anything else. It seemed like a good idea but didn't help help me in any way. EDIT: After the above review posted I got an email from the company, Healthway Shop, who offered to refund my money on this last bottle. This was a generous and rare thing, thus I added one more star to the feedback due to their above the call of duty customer service. They reached out to me which is amazing. So thank you Healthway Shop, I will look for some other product to try from your store. This particular product didn't meet my expectations, but I am sure I will find something else that will.
