Acne Cover, Skin Cover Absorbs Pus and Oil From Clogged Pores, Suitable Skincare for Most Skin Types - 108 Acne Covers

These work really well for my adult acne. I get a variety of pimples-anything from small blackheads & tiny, bumpy whiteheads to deep cystic boils. It took me 1 week to use a whole pack (I covered every flaw I had on my face to test the product). For smaller bumps with or without a whitehead, the patches completely absorbed all oil/pus overnight and I woke up not being able to tell where the zit was. I didn't have any larger zits (boils) this week to experiment on so I can't review the effects of the patch on those but I did have a few medium to larger-sized acne pimples that I tried the product on and the result was pretty good. I had one zit in particular that kept refilling during the day while I was wearing makeup, then I would use a patch on it at night and voila....all drained by morning. Unfortunately the zit would continue to slowly refill during the day and so I had to keep repeating this cycle. I am now 7 days out and last night I finally popped it by squeezing, then covered with a patch and it appears that it is finally going away. I did notice that with these more medium-sized pimples, the patch was not as effective if the zit had not been previously popped/opened. I had a whitehead show up under my lip yesterday, I avoided popping it, put a patch on last night and woke up with all of the pus brought to the surface (so there was a large whitehead) but it had not been absorbed by the cover. I was still happy that it helped the pus to surface and popped it myself this morning. Sorry if this is TMI, but I have tried so many products over the years and reviews have always been very helpful for me in making purchasing decisions. My overall impression of this product is very positive. After a week of usage, I feel that my face is much clearer (though not perfect) and I don't pop/pick at my zits nearly as often. I personally would not wear these patches during the day-they do not blend with skin well-unless you are a habitual picker and need something to keep your fingernails away. I prefer to cover my flaws with makeup during the daytime hours and use these patches at night. It's always a good feeling to see how much goo the patches pull out. I've had anything and everything from clear oil and white pus to blood and yellow drainage on the covers. Again, sorry for the gruesome details, but I hope this review helps someone out there with their purchasing decision. Final impression: Amazing for small pimples with or without a whitehead, decent for medium and larger zits as long as the head has been punctured previous to the cover application, completely useless for blackheads (but that isn't a big concern for me). Will I reorder?? Yes! I already have and they will be arriving today (thank you prime!). I hope these patches work as well for you as they have been for me. One more small note-these patches are fairly sticky but make sure that the pimple is not oozing when you apply the cover or it will not stay on.

UPDATE: I still think these things are little miracle workers! I've been telling everyone I know about them. I wish these had been a thing when I was a teenager and through my 20's. I would have ended up with far fewer acne scars, and still got the satisfaction of getting that poison (pus) out of my skin, without the need to go to town squeezing on it and turning it into a bloody, angry mess. These also work well for stubborn ingrown hairs. I follow the same procedure as a pimple (see below), but leave it on for a few days to really let it drain and heal. If the dot gets too full of pus, I replace it with another. These are great in the shower! I forgot I had one on for a few days even. I used to use the Nexcare ones which also work really well, but the color was too dark for my fair skin, so it was much more noticeable. This is not to say you can get away with wearing these in public. People will probably notice them on your face, but likely not on other parts of your body. If you're just going through a drive thru you're fine, but any extended face-to-face contact will result in people wondering why the hell you have a clear sticker on your face. Then again, if your pimple is really bad, the "clear sticker" may be preferable. I also want to add that, being a therapist who struggles with undiagnosed excoriation disorder (obsessive skin picking, scratching, pimple-popping, etc.), I see the utility of these in helping prevent the urge to pick. My urge to pick comes from knowing that just leaving a pimple/ingrown hair alone doesn't necessarily mean it'll heal faster. I've noticed that pimples and ingrown hairs will linger for weeks and keep refilling with pus if you don't get that hair/head out. At least, that's the case for me. So, in my mind, not popping the pimple/ingrown hair is likely going to prolong the misery. With these, I don't have to worry about that because these actually heal things faster than anything else I've ever tried, including retinol. The thing that I like the most about these is that they help keep my skin moist so I don't have crusty, scabby, flaky skin to somehow try to cover up with makeup. The makeup usually highlights the pimple and makes it even more noticeable! Not the case with these. In the morning, my pimples are flat, drained, moist, and relatively easier to cover up with makeup. I guess if I'm being honest with myself, I also LOVE seeing how much pus came out of my face in the morning. It's beyond satisfying to know that that crap is no longer in my face causing trouble. I get think I get more excited about it than I did about Christmas as a kid. Diehard Dr. Pimple-Popper fans know what I'm talking about!!! Do yourself a favor and just have these on hand at all times!! I'm about to buy a second box, even though I'm only halfway done with my current one, because I don't ever want to be without these! If you have kids with acne, learn from my mistakes, and get them these to avoid future (expensive) cosmetic procedures (and/or therapy!) to reverse the damage caused by acne scars. Clear skin and the resulting boost in confidence is priceless! *************************************************************************************************************************************** I was highly skeptical of these but they are so disgustingly awesome! I suffer from cystic and hormonal acne which means huge, ugly, painful pimples that come from deep within your soul and last for at least a week. I personally can't NOT drain a pimple like that because I know healing doesn't start until it's empty, but then that leads to crusty, oosing scabs that often leave a scar or dark spot. Not to mention that entire time your pimple is erupting, oozing, scabbing and scarring it's pretty much impossible to completely cover with makeup! These have decreased healing time and made it WAY easier to cover up these pimples, because once you take the cover off, they're flat and not scabby. They suck out all the pus and shrink your pimples over night! I wish I had found these sooner! Here's how I've been using them: Wash face, use toner, let face dry completely. Unless your pimple is already oozing, prick the white head with a sterile needle, then place a patch over the pimple and sleep with it on. In the morning the little circle will be filled with pus. I recommended doing this right before bed because otherwise you'll be accidentally rubbing/scratching it off constantly. Plus, these need to be undisturbed for hours in order to work.

I have purchased the many times. They work well and are a big help when dealing with chronic acne/cysts. My one complaint is that there are few larger ones and many smaller ones. I find that the smaller ones do not stay on do not or even totally cover the larger cysts I deal with, they just fall off..I use the larger ones which work but I hate to think how many small ones I have tossed away, knowing thy would not stay in place. It is a waste; they are really too expensive to throw away! Putting 2 or more on the same blemish doesn't work so well, either. I wonder why they do not make a package with ONLY LARGER covers available? I can't be the only person who finds the smaller ones are not useful!

These things are awesome! I now have gotten to my second pack of these, as I don't have too many breakout issues anymore (but I share them with the bf), and I wanted to put in my two cents about this amazing product. Here is the good and the bad, as I see it: GOOD! 1. This is a no-chemical acne solution. Unless you are allergic to the (probably proprietary) plasticky substance these are made out of, there should be ZERO irritation! That's right - none! I have semi-sensitive, aging (I am 36yo), oily, acne-prone skin. I had to stop using traditional acne products because they began to really bother my skin. 2. They work amazingly fast. Pop these on your spot(s) and overnight you should wake up to flat, or extremely flattened/reduced (if the pimple is larger or not yet near the surface) zits. For mean pimples you may need to use them for more than one night, but this is still a huge reduction in healing time, as a pimple that isn't nuked by these is probably pretty severe. For example, I got a hormonal/"fighting off actually getting sick" pimple cause two people in my household have nasty flu/pneumonia. I used this three nights on this bump before it went away, but it kept it down, from getting worse/super-ugly looking. 3. They work on MANY pimple types. Honestly aside from my tiny hormone pimples, I mostly only get an teeny irritation whitehead (rashy kind of small pimple) or blackheads. This even works on blackheads -- to which point I would love it if they made Biore Nose strip like versions of these. I would snap them up in a heartbeat!! They also work on my boyfriend's super-grody bacne pimples of large and manly proportion, which is much better than having to look at them when he does nothing about them, but gripes when I poke them. Slap on a Nexcare, slap on a Star Wars bandaid = both of us are happy campers. The Bad? 1. These don't stick too well. Tips: Put on very clean/dry skin. NO lotion or other stuff on your skin! Have very dry/clean hands. Be careful to touch as little of the "sticky" side of the pad as possible. Try to only use this on flat spots. If in a spot you think it will rub off of - apply a bandaid over the top of it. Now, I use these at night and I've rarely had one pop off my face when I do the above (no bandaids on my face are needed. that's for the bf bacne, though your needs may vary!) 2. These are not for use outside the home. They are very obvious discs that simply are not thin enough to not look like you have little bandaids on your skin, or perhaps alien growths... Anyway. Wear them at home, at night or on your day off, and wear outside at your own discretion if you just dgaf, but they aren't "invisible" or able to be covered by makeup of any normal non-spackle variety. Bottom line: Since I am perfectly happy to have these be an "at home" solution and I've worked out how to deal with them not being too sticky, I have to say I LOVE these things. I have them on subscribe and save now as I plan to never be without them. The no-chemical, super gentle, effective solution is the freakin' bomb. 5+ stars P.S. Part of me wants to post a picture, but it's not necessary. You will see the gross little white blob of goo stuck on the pad the first time you use it and will know it has worked. Kinda like Biore strips... it's an icky fascination to look and boggle, but probably doesn't need to be shared with the universe. Just your sister/mom/roommate/bestie or maybe your curious significant other, so they can go, "ewww!" along with you and then ask to try it for themselves.

I used this, and also the [Cosrx] Acne Pimple Master Patch 24EA... patches. I wouldn't buy these again, the Cosrx ones are MUCH better. These are about 1 mm thick, there is some adhesive on the backs of these which can make them a little hard to apply, and they're really visible when you're using them. If you're hoping for something you can wear while out and about, this isn't it. They're much too thick to go unnoticed even to the casual observer. I would only use them again for overnight use, if at all. I also would NOT use them on cystic acne again, but it may be the way that I was using them -- I kept my acne covered with a fresh patch every 8 hours or so, and every time it soaked up more stuff, but it also left me with a red circle around the acne. I wound up treating it with antibiotic ointment because it was looking so bad. Maybe I shouldn't have given the acne a break and that would have prevented it, but I wouldn't use it more than overnight on cystic acne again. It didn't seem to work on all my acne. I put them on some places that felt like acne bumps, but I saw nothing on the patches the next morning. It also leaves a gummy residue behind when you remove them, but that washes off easily. These are cheap, and thus relatively low-quality, but they do what they're supposed to, for the most part. The good things about these: I'm very sensitive to adhesives, and aside from some short-term localized redness, I didn't have any reaction to the adhesive. They stuck very well, even when I put them on the crease of my nose to get rid of a stubborn zit that had been hanging out for days. After you put them on, it takes a few minutes to stop feeling like you have a sticker on your face, but I did find that they became comfortable fairly quickly, depending on placement and inflammation. (It took a lot longer for it to become comfortable over cystic acne that was already tender and swollen as opposed to a regular depth whitehead.) These worked pretty well for acne bumps/whiteheads that haven't surfaced yet when it did work, and I found that usually when I pulled them off, if they had the white spot on them, I would usually have some pus oozing from the acne and I would be able to squeeze a little more out before washing my face without the pain and inflammation that would come from popping it with my fingers. All in all, I like this type of product, just not this specific one.

Cant live without this product. This product changed my life when I first discovered it 5 or so years ago. Now I see that a lot of brands have launched a hydrocolloid patch, BUT none of the new brands come close to delivering the results that Nexcare does without drying my sensitive skin out.

Thanks to a blog that mentioned these as good for acne, decided to purchase these bandages. I've suffered my whole life from acne, have oily skin and well as most have tried everything. These bandages work & they are face changing if you have acne. However, if you use them incorrectly or for the wrong type of acne you may not get some of the good results people are talking about in the reviews. First off, this box and 2 different sizes, each fitting different size bumps. The tiniest one are probably good for very small bumps, the largest one will probably work for most bumps. When you use them make sure your skin is very clean. No lotions, oils, or products. Just apply the bandage to your product free skin. This takes a few hours to work and the longer you leave it on the better. Usually leave mine on overnight and its enough but for those bumps that refuse to go away, it takes longer for it truly work. 3rd, this will only work on open comodones or bumps. If your cyst, bump, zit is closed this will do absolutely nothing except maybe take away the redness and water surrounding the bump. Also note this doesn't suck out the "pus" it mostly pulls out the excess water and "liquidy" part of the bump. It does deflate it, the redness disappears and the swelling goes down. Sometimes if you have an extra large zit it may take 3 or 4 of these covers but if its an open zit, it will go down eventually. These are a must in my medicine cabinet. This brand in particular adheres to the skin if you don't get it wet or apply it to a face without product on it. I've tried other brands and they don't stick as well as this brand. Its flesh colored, so not to obvious. So if you forget its on your face and you answer the door, the person in front of you may not even see it at first. Good brand, great product will buy again, just be aware this won't work for all acne (blackheads, whiteheads or closed cysts) but when it does work, the results are amazing.

I bought these with skepticism, but I really like these little things. I was blessed with adult acne. My skin is impressively oily, and I’m prone to breakouts—specifically white heads. I experimented with these little buggers and this is what I learned: 1) They do not work on blackheads and other solid gunk. I use a peel off mask to handle those. 2) While they do not remove solid matter from a pimple, they do pull out lots of the fluid to make it easier to get any solid matter out of the little buggers. 3) Occasionally, they will pull oil and other fluids out of a pore that has yet to surface if its close enough to the pore you were focused on. Many times I would put it over a bump, and I would wake in the morning to find that there was a white dot where it pulled from the pore I was using it for, but it would also leave an additional white dot from another adjacent bump before it would fully form. 4) They stick to my skin sufficiently enough to last the night through. When I sleep, I do what my husband refers to as the alligator roll. I roll from my back to side to stomach to other side to back so many times, a sped up video of me sleeping would prove that I sleep rotisserie-style. I also sleep with a sleep mask. All of these things don’t affect the adhesion. Love that! 5) The primary reason for a star deduction is that it occasionally requires multiple nights of treatment to completely treat and heal the bump in question. 6) These also don’t work well on bumps that have yet to be popped. It has to have access to the content of the inflamed pore to pull fluid out. 7) I found myself wondering if it is really working it’s magic or if it turns white as a result of some type of reaction after coming in contact with my skin. I tried placing one in an area without any bumps. Interestingly enough, nothing changed. It actually works and isn’t just a placebo effect. 8) Placing them near my nose made my nose itch in the middle of the night. I scratched that one off in my sleep out of irritation, but it normally doesn’t irritate me. 9) Some complained about the size of the smaller ones. I have no complaints. They were the perfect size of some of my smaller ones. This isn’t by far the last acne product I’ll ever need. I generally use rubbing alcohol as a cleanser and aloe as a moisturizer. When it comes to “spot treatment” for acne, I use this to help get the gunk out and neosporean to help it heal faster. And that’s it! I love that my skincare is down to four products total, and it works for me. Love these things!

Patch pour boutons naissants ou déjà en place. Fonctionne très bien dans les deux cas

I wash my face then make sure it's dry before I use this patch. Overnight it absorbs the gunk and by next morning you can peel the patches away and wipe off the spots with astringent-soaked cotton. Please note that the patches are meant for absorbing oil from acne- so make sure your face doesn't have cream/rosewater/dirt on it when you apply. Or it won't work. And yes it needs to work when you sleep.

I really like this product. I wash my face and dry it well before applying this product. It sucks all the yellow goo out and clears the average pimple within 3 days. I do get really deep painful pimples too and they take a bit longer to clear, but I do feel that these patches help a lot
