This is a great product. It’s perfect to cut large amount of paper at once. I cut my own business cards to save money and it hasn’t worked perfectly for that job! I was concerned about purchasing this product because of some of the feedback stating it does not cut straight, but I have not had that issue at all. It cuts perfectly straight for me. It makes a perfect slice sound! That sound means that the blade is coming in full contact with the metal plate with the same amount of pressure that an expensive heavier cutter has. The blade is very sturdy and sharp. The cutter is made of good quality material. To avoid uneven cuts, I just have to take a little extra time making sure that the left-side of the paper lines up perfectly on the grid line all the way down the page, but that is true for any guillotine paper cutter. I also use my other hand on the paper and press down in order to ensure that the paper doesn’t move at all while cutting. I LOVE how clean the cuts are and how totally simple this is to use. The measurements on the trimmer are a great guide for specific cuts. It’s a great size cutter that will DEFINITELY last a long time. It’s lightweight and easy to store for safety purposes. I would definitely recommend this product. It’s totally affordable for the size⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This paper cutter is top notch. I ordered this for my crafts room to replace an old dull one and I'm so glad I picked this one. It's extremely sharp, the handle locks for saftey but also stays up at the top to allow for proper paper alignment before cutting. I use it to trim cardstocks for invitations, greeting cards, stationery & etc. Everything that goes out the door is perfect. So I value the precision this paper cutter provides. I can tell already it will be with me for years to come.

I’m giving this a positive review because it’s 1/4 the price of competitors. It cuts cleanly, quickly, and works well enough for what I needed. Instead of buying a larger, more expensive paper cutter, I bought this one because it doesn’t have a guard, which means you can cut any width of paper without having to fold the paper. The main issue with this cutter is that it’s hard to get multiple, perfect 90-angle cuts. Things don’t line up perfectly, and it’s noticeable. Don’t buy this if you need a high level of precision.

At first I had a hard time understanding how to place the paper under the plastic arm on the side and I couldn't figure out why the was not a real blade, but once I tried it I was happy with the results. It works well for home projects. It is super lightweight and compact, so it is very easy to store. It met my expectations.

The body is made of a cheap chipboard (mine arrived with one corner broken off). The left side paper guide is flimsy and if you're not careful, you can bend it out of square by pushing your paper against it. This guide also doesn't sit flush with the cutting surface, so the paper has a tendency to slide under it instead of stopping against it. It also has this weird arm to hold down the paper near the blade. This might be a good thing in theory, but it was so crooked that it actually overlapped the cutting area and prevented the blade from closing, making the cutter completely unusable. I tried taking the arm off, only to find that without it, the blade isn't sharp enough to cut through a sheet of 100 lb cover stock without pulling it to the right, resulting in a crooked cut. Literally everything about this product is frustrating and terrible.

Not impressed at all considering the price. It feels cheaply made, and I doubt it will hold up to even semi-regular use in my art studio. The board is NOT red -- it's more of a cedar stain color. The packaging also was not adequate, as I saw wholes in it and it had no padding inside to cushion the board during transport. The board had a noticeable ding in it and one of the rubber feet that is supposed to be secured by a screw was knocked off during shipping and the threading for the hole was stripped - so I had to superglue it back on. I tried to cut the max amount of paper as advertised, and it didn't do a good job.

The instructions were not helpful. But once I figured out how it worked, I was really happy with it. I have several cutters but was unable to get them to work on 13x19 paper. This cutter made that task so easy - especially helpful were the inch marks on the cutter that allowed exact trimming.

The little clamp doesnt line up with the edge unless you bend it is my only complaint. Good product.
