Amazon Essentials Women's Relaxed-Fit Studio Terry Capri Jogger Pant

I've just purchased a second pair of these, and am so happy to finally find a replacement for the 10 year old Old Navy wide-leg yoga pants I've been wearing as comfy house pants! As other reviews state, these definitely run large. I am a definite size 12/14 US (natural waist 32", high hip 38", fullest hip 44", mommy pouch) and the M in these fit perfectly. I'm never a Medium in any pants! The fabric is soft and thin. I was looking for indoor pants; I wouldn't wear these for outdoor workouts (not "secure," no compression, no warmth in winter) or to keep particularly warm. I expect to wear these most of the year except coldest winter (my partner likes to blast the AC so I like a capri even in summer!). The thin fabric also will show some butt dimples (we all have them!) if pulled tight; so again, house pants. I LOVE the wide stretch waistband. I don't have to undo the drawstring (which is also stretch) to take them on and off, which is clutch - I hate tying a tie every time I go to the bathroom! It's also very comfortable and non-binding but stays in place. I could sleep in these pants, but they are reasonably cute/flattering so I'm not embarrassed to walk outside, answer the door. I got them in Black and Dark Gray. I wouldn't advise the lighter colors; they're going to be see-through.

I am 5'2". I wear an XXL in Target bottoms and am an xl short in AE joggers/leggings and 16/18 in AE jeans (usually 18), depending on the cut. I got these in an xl and XXL to try and the xl was perfect. The rise was medium on me - they come just to my navel. I liked them enough to get them in several colors. They're very soft and the fabric is a great weight - a very light and cool jersey-like French Terry without showing too much. I also tried the Amazon Essentials Brush Tec cropped joggers, which are virtually the same except the fabric (much much softer than this one), the cuff details (this one is ribbed), and the rise (the other is higher rise) - I ultimately thought these look better on me.

Latest update 11/6/19. Just bought some more one size smaller, boy is that much better. BUY ONE SIZE SMALLER! They will stretch out after 2 hours of wear. The larger one I bought I will wear for pj bottoms. The waist is at least 2” larger than that of a similar pant, but the rest of the pant is a normal size. Order down one size for your normal size. Nice pant, good material but size is way off on the waistline, but the waist is different. I am not going to return, but will put in hot dryer after washing. They really are super comfortable. The size is just plain weird. Have fun. I just washed them and dryed them and they did shrink down a size and then stretched back out. Nice pants. 11/2/21 update. Just purchased a size smaller to replenish my old pants and this batch the material is thinner than the last. Also there is a big difference between the xl which were too large on me and the large which doesn’t fit correctly. Will be returning for credit and try some other style.

Not sure what some reviewers mean by these being huge. It made me nervous about ordering because I didn't want them to look like clown pants. I don't find that these are huge at all. I did order down a size to large and they are nice fit. I'm 5'1 37" waist and while for petites, they are not as short in the legs, they are above my ankles and are fine. They also fit the leg nicely and not like a balloon. I have the shorts in the same style and ordered an xl in those and could have gone with a large as well. The best part is the softness and comfort. They are perfect for summer unlike thick, hot sweatpants, will go with everything and can still dress up for casual outing. You can order down a size. For some, maybe you want to go down 2 sizes, but these are not leggings and are not described that way. If you prefer tight, form fitting around your legs and waist, then get leggings. Some of us don't prefer that. I love these.

These joggers are a nice weight. They're not thin like t-shirt material but not heavy like a sweatshirt. Definitely not see-through. Very comfortable. The drawstring waist is just a bit big. I normally wear a Medium so I ordered Medium and it's not super baggy, just a bit bigger than expected at the waist. I'm tall (5'7") and these are long enough in the torso to fit at the waist.nO I've washed them once and if there was shrinkage it was very minor. I like that these are close to the body and legs like leggings and am glad these have pockets. Perfect for walks or errands around town.

Just got these today (ordered 2) & going to order more because I’ll definitely be living in these this spring & summer! Incredibly soft, nice high rise which sits at the waist. I always order size XL in pants (usually) but had ordered these in a L because of the reviews. Thankfully I listened! Length comes down almost to my ankle but not quite. About 3 inches above my ankle. I’m 5’6”, & it has stretchy elastic which is very comfortable. They’ll look cute with flip flops, sandals or sneakers. Nice size pockets. Wide enough elastic band with drawstring. Ok, I’m going to go order more now!

I loved these jogger pants. The color, fit, and comfort was amazing. Then I washed them for first time, and the elastic part on one leg loosened a lot. I don't know why it did that, but now one leg's elastic fits snugly on the leg to hold it in place, and the other leg just drops down. It's pretty annoying becuase it won't stay in place. It's also weird because it only happened to one side, and so they look mismatched.

These were super soft and comfy and fit me well for length. However they pick up a lot of pet hair. I’m not sure how well they will stand up to the washing machine. The fabric is quite thin but with some fluffiness that may not last after a couple of times in laundry.

I'm 5' 3" and often when I search for 'petite' leggings they arrive so long that they bunch up at the ankles. These are great. The photo shows them just below knee length on the model, they are a couple of inches above my ankles, perfect! Good quality, no doubt I will buy more.
