This stuff works great in one coat. It is easy to apply and covers easily. Great quality. I was prepping 4 pieces of furniture for painting. It was my first time attempting a project like this. The primer went on easily in one coat The furniture looks great and I am looking forward to other projects

I painted over wallpaper above my cabinets that wouldn’t budge even with a steamer. It was plaid. This covered in one coat and only needed one coat of paint. Great stuff! Only negative is the smell……took a few days to the smell out of our kitchen with windows open.

For jobs that require oil-based primer (e.g., re-glazing windows with linseed-based putty), this primer is the best. It covers nicely, dries relatively quickly and has an amazingly long shelf life in the can. (The only reason I needed to get a new can was because I finally reached the bottom of the can I bought 10 years ago!) Working with oil-based anything is never a pleasant experience, but if you have to use it, I would highly recommend this brand (along with a few pairs of thin latex gloves). 5 stars.

Gets the job done! The smell is extremely potent — highly recommend an air purifier and a respirator mask. It dries quickly & the quality is good. Good price for what you get.

Really happy with this paint did an amazing job covering the vinyl wallpaper in my mother's kitchen 2 coats covered the black no problem and dries quickly has a bit of a fuel smell to it but it dissipates quickly and for the coverage it gives it's so worth it

This is a good primer i use it all the time on boat when i an repainting then hull only its oil base dries quickly an sands really good with 220

We bought a house with layers and layers of wallpaper and adhesive and could not get the adhesive off no matter what we tried. We painted over it with this so the glue wouldn't react with the skim coat of joint compound or paint. It works great, just make sure you air out the house if using it inside. I'm sensitive to chemicals and felt sick of we didn't open the windows and turn on the whole house fan.
