Housing is flimsy and one broke.

Bought 2. On 13.8 volt power supply, 1 fairly bright for single chip LED (same as new 1157 incandescent) and 1 with bad chip (20% dimmer with yellowish tint). Doubled solder on base contacts of both to correct intermittent in-new-socket operation (made contacts extend out as far as new 1157 bulb). On both, not enough difference between high and low for my tastes (wouldn't recommend for brake lights or turn signals). I reassigned both as under hood lights (note - can NOT turn on both high and low at same time for more lumins). For the price of these projector lens LEDs, I may buy two more for the trunk as they project a perfectly defined 4 foot diameter spot light from 4 feet away (distance from trunk lid to trunk floor).

I purchased these bulbs to use as backup lights in my 1984 Porsche. When they arrived I was pleased with their quality and construction.After installation, I found the light output to be comparable to the filament backup bulbs I replaced. Wanting more light behind my car, I purchased and installed some higher wattage LED bulbs that are brighter. I am now using these bulbs for the brake lights.

I've done the research and that means, both from reading and experience, it focuses the light to go as far, as bright as possible.At night, often I find myself next to dark things. Wooded areas, dimly lit parking lots, if any light at all. These light up 20-50 feet so you can clearly eye if Freddy Krueger is behind your ride.If he is, get out of there. Or startle him with these great lights. You won't be disappointed. Easily see behind you.Make sure you check fitment. Sometimes these are longer than regular bulbs. Sometimes there's a polarity issue, in which case, turn it 180 degrees and enjoy the white, clear light that comes beaming out of these!

First set came and both didnt work. Had to smash em and take pictures then send it to their customer service. They promptly sent me a new set which worked great.

I wish they were a little bit brighter but love them. The built quality is awesome!

Fit right into my reverse light sockets. These things light up far better than the stock incandescent bulbs that came with my car and they look better too since they are the typical led blue-ish white. I get compliments left and right from them. It's amazing how much output these single LED's are putting out.These things also feel very strong too. The case around the lights are made out of metal.They light up with a round pattern and a narrower beam than many other led's though so keep that in mind.All in all I'm very satisfied!
