I started collecting this pattern of china and when I saw this trinket bowl I had to have one. I also bought a few extra to give as gifts for when you just want to give a friend or a family member just a little something, it just makes such a nice gift because it’s a nice little elegant piece.

Nice sized serving bowl when you need one that's between medium and small. It's also very pretty and goes well with the Butterfly Meadows pattern.

This pitcher is a work of art. It has many details that were put there just to make it aesthetically pleasing, like the basket weave carving at the bottom that gave it a unique texture. The package arrived undamaged, thanks in part to the "fragile" sticker pasted on the amazon box, which is the first time I saw amazon doing so. I partnered it with other butterfly meadow products, and my collection so far looks stunning! I purchased this when it has a great discount, so for me it is great value for money.

So, I’ve got a lot of Lenox Butterfly Meadow dishes that I’ve been collecting for daily use over the past 11 years, this review is for all of them. I love them, use them daily, put them in the dishwasher, stack them high & heavy in my cabinets, have used them for everything from feeding a toddler grandson to wet food bowl for my dog, in addition to daily household dishes. They’re used relentlessly, you know? And they’re still beautiful, still serving the same garden fresh look as when brand new. I’m writing this review now to provide kudos to Lenox’s breakage guarantee. I am so impressed with Lenox’s breakage guarantee! About a month ago I broke one of my butterfly meadow dessert bowls that I bought 11 years ago. I took a picture of the broken bowl and went on their replacement promise page to request a replacement. It asked for purchase proof, so I searched Amazon order history to get the order number - couldn’t find the dessert bowls order so had to use a starter set order number, then specified it was dessert bowl broken. I just received a shipment containing an official Lenox butterfly meadow box with 2 brand new dessert bowls, in the same blue flower design as the one that I’d photographed broken. Completely free, they replaced my 1 broken bowl with 2 brand new bowls, all I had to do was request it and prove I’d bought Butterfly Meadow dishes on Amazon by giving them an order number, even though it wasn’t the specific order. I’m impressed!

Much to my disappoinment the large serving bowl, packaged on top in Lenox's retail box was in a dozen pieces! I couldn't exactly tell if it was large enough. I'm thinking that it would never hold enough to serve 6 of the bowls of pasta. However, it was certainly appropriate for taking the second helpings to the table after everyone was served hot off the stove. The serving bowl could be used for many other things. The bowls are pretty and will double greatly for large salad bowls or other one dish foods with the main dish served over noodles/rice etc like Beef Stronganoff or Shrimp Creole. My beef is how Lenox's retail box was only suitable for retail, store front use - not shipping. That box, not tightly secured in a larger box without a 'fragile' label resulted in the frustration and additional cost to all to return the item for the serving bowl arriving broken. This is not the first time the packing dept was lax in preparing a delicate item for shipping. Therefore, I deducted one star. As an accompanyment to my other Butterfly Meadows, great. In fact, these pieces could stand alone as a set if you're serving a one dish meal. And, since the individual price for these bowls usually runs around $12, buying the set is the way to go. Amazon had the lowest price, shortly followed by Overstock.com with a similar price a few days later. I highly recommend becoming a Prime Member at Amazon. I shop on-line quite a bit so paying once for shipping and then selecting from the thousands of items that qualify, I pay no more for shipping and can get two day delivery. Love it. That alone has made me an Amazon shopper. Think of it, for a flat fee, no shipping, no driving, no having to hit the stores with everyone else, and if I wait too long to buy a gift, 2-day delivery. Thanks Amazon. (Plus I rely heavily on the reviews for my comparison shopping. People tell it like it is.)

When I was 11 years old, my grandmother took me to my first Afternoon Tea service, and ever since then I have always wanted my own 3-tiered tea stand. Flash forward 17 years, and I still had yet to find my Afternoon Tea stand. A couple weeks ago when I found out my bridal shower is going to be Downton Abbey themed, and I started my search for one all over again, and thats when I came across Lenox’s Butterfly Meadow collection. The minute I saw there was a tea stand in this gorgeous collection, I knew this is the one I had been waiting to find, so of course, I had to order it. The packaging was absolutely incredible. The box of the tea stand was wrapped in bubble wrap and placed inside a shipping box, which is always nice to see with fragile items like this! The actual product box features artwork from the collection that really gives it an extra elegant touch, in my humble opinion lol. Inside the box, each tier of the stand was secure in a cardboard frame and separated with another piece of sturdy cardboard between each of them, and they were all perfectly intact! The quality of each plate tier is superb, but that really doesn’t come as much of a surprise considering it’s a Lenox Brand item. The artwork on each plate is truly so beautiful, and the colors are crisp and clear. Everything about this tea stand is perfect, and I am so happy with it! Now, I not only do I need the actual tea set from this collection, but I also need a beautiful china cabinet to display it all in. Lol!!! Lenox does not disappoint with this Afternoon Tea stand. It is beautiful, functional, and amazing quality. Highly recommend to any fellow Downton fans, tea drinkers, and anyone else that loves eating cute finger sandwiches and scones with tiny desserts and a cup of hot tea!
