I didn't know that I needed until I got it.
One of those purchases that you didn't realize how you managed without it . I bought it mainly for decor , but realized how useful it was when cutting decals . I was just scratching up my glass coffee table before . The double sided colored surface is really nice and useful . I recommend!

Beyond all reason, wonderful!
They were delivered to the wrong house! Once we got the cutting surfaces out of the box, it was an instant love affair. They are big! It makes it really easy to cut paper with total disregard for how to get the paper on the surface to be cut. Nothing hanging over the edges or getting hung up on the cutting surface. The darn things are near perfection, I was surprised at how big they were when they arrived but they are wonderfully big, They are two sided, one white and one blue. Works great for whatever color of paper you are cutting.The white paper on the white side could be good, the blue side makes the white paper sheets easy to see. Ok, all thats good , then they send you two most excellent cutting surfaces. One for today and one for tomorrow. The cutting surfaces are extremely fantastic. The are exactly what I wanted and more. Working with rotary cutters approaches bliss.

This mat is only 17”x23”, not 18” x24”.
I like the thickness of the mat and dark colors show up well against the pink side. This cutting mat is only 17”x23”. Losing that inch makes it a little difficult when cutting WOF on 44” fabric. This leaves only 1” for the rotary cutter to start and stop on the mat without going off.

Good buy
This cutting mat really helps me measure. I like the grid pattern. I am using it for drawing, it helps me measure proportions much faster, and is a nice tool. I always measure figures when drawing and the grid helps me lay out a figure on paper much quicker and more accurately. It also keeps the back side of paper clean. The only thing i dont like - this mat is not a true 18" X 24". Not even close. But for my needs this is working just fine.
