This book really caused me to reflect on myself and my world view. Definitely a book for those who not only want an exhilarating story but a thought provoking one.

It's an intriguing premise to think that we appear in many different forms to different people in our lives. I've never really thought about it on this level, so this book pushed my mind to new heights. If you're a self-development junkie like me, I think you'll enjoy it.

10/10 would have existential panic attack again

Luigi Pirandello's tale of how a man's life takes a very different turn following a throwaway comment of his wife, regarding the shape of his nose is in turns funny, poignant, wry and unnerving. It is given fresh impetus by Kevan Houser's uncluttered, clever translation.

Really interesting book.
