TED Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter Fits: 2000-2004 Toyota Tundra 4.7L BANK 1 CATALYTIC CONVERTER DRIVER SIDE

The price of this catalytic converter could not be beaten, and while it is made of aluminized steel rather than stainless, I simply degreased it, lightly sanded and painted the metal with high temperature engine paint (3 coats). I anticipate that this will last at least as long as the stainless steel components that I put on.

All the piping lined up correctly and was easy enough to put together. The issue mine had was the hanger was welded on the wrong side and there was no way it was going to work. I had cut it off with a grinder and weld it to the other side. Easy enough to do but kind of annoying. I saw the same thing happened to another person. Hopefully they'll fix the issue.

It was missing all the nuts for the flange connections. The middle connection was two bell ends that did not match in size, so I couldn’t put an inner coupling or any other reasonable connection had to use a exhaust repair kit to make it work. I knew I was ordering a cheap product but I at least expected some sort of craftsmanship and effort into its design.

2001 Tundra. Needed some modifications to keep it from rattling and rubbing on the transmission. Flange to exhaust pipe welded crooked.

Fits 2001 tundra AC 4x4.My O2 sensor still throwing error however

The two non-flanged ends of the two pipes were the same diameter (2") and could not be connected with the muffler clamp provided. This production error required additional time and parts to adapt and install the parts received. The picture provided by the seller clearly shows one pipe should connect to the other with the clamp provided. Not happy with the purchase.

Didn’t come with the bolts for the 02 sensors or the plates for them

This was 1/3 of the exhaust system. I needed bank 2 and the muffler and pipes as well.
