Solid, heavy and really well-made. The price is pretty good for what you get. It's a good palette and isn't so big that it gets in the way. It washes well, and dried acrylic paint is removed easily. As for watercolour, it's not as 'beady' as metal so you can swipe to see the colour properly

Great rectangle pottery palette for watercolours. Easy to use, size great, very functional for mixing colours, depth not too deep. Impressed with the packaging and arrived safely.

This was slightly smaller than I expected (my guess-timation of cms to inches not accurate) but because its nice and deep it will hold plenty of watercolour. I find the shape fits better on a table than the rounder design. The only reason for marking it down one star for travelling is because I have to wrap enamel well to avoid damage..... still prefer enamel as its so easy to use and clean. Very pleased.

Practial tool to get a few colours out next to each other, however, mixing space isn't ideal, as it's limited. Works probably as a palette for oil or acrylic but for watercolour I would need more space (I know, measurements are given, so it's my fault I didn't order a bigger one). Good for travelling or limited colour palette. Not very easy to clean though, as corners are quite deep.

I loved this from the moment it arrived in its sturdy, attractive box. The surface of the palette is smooth ceramic which makes mixing paints easy, and unlike plastic, it prevents them drying out too quickly. The wells are of varying size, which is useful, and it is easy to clean. Overall, very satisfied.

I haven't used the palette yet, but I am very pleased with it. The size is great and the shape will be easier to carry around than my round palette. I much prefer the ceramic palettes for my watercolour paints.

A very useful array of wells in this easy clean, non stain surface made of porcelain. A quality item.

These ceramic paint palettes are small enough not to be cumbersome or take up much room, which is very important if flat space is limited. The depth of the compartments will take enough liquid for any decent sized watercolour. For a large acrylic painting this palette would only be useful for the least used colours. The palette is an ideal size for storing colours in the fridge when necessary. The palette is easy to clean, unlike the plastic types which can be stained by certain pigments. I bought two of the palettes which gives me 18 wells. Together with my other palettes that is more than enough for my watercolouring needs.

Great palette, paint mixes really well.

This has become my absolute go to palette for all of my watercolour work. I previously used plastic palettes but I was always frustrated by how the water would bead up or pill on the surface making it impossible to see the true colour of my mixes. This ceramic surface allows the paint to lay flat and smooth which is exactly what you need for accurate colour mixing. It has a nice weight to it so it stays put on my desk and does not slide around while I am dipping my brush. One of the best parts is that it does not stain at all. Even with staining pigments like phthalo blues or deep reds it wipes completely clean every time. I also love how easy it is to maintain. If I am feeling lazy after a long painting session I simply put it in the dishwasher and it comes out looking brand new. It is the perfect size for a standard workspace and the nine wells provide plenty of room for a diverse colour story.
