I'll normally buy my batteries in bulk. You get a much better price and well, Duracell are top quality. OtherAlkaline batteries have a tendency to leak. I've had that problem with the Energizer batteries. I'm not sayingthat the Duracell batteries never leak and corrode all of the contacts in whatever you're using them for.If you put batteries in a flashlight and toss it in the closet then go to use it five years later the chancesof the batteries leaking normally happens with just about all batteries.I use Duracell batteries especially in my hurricane lanterns because of where I live.Also Duracell shelf life is a tremendous advantage. They hold their charge until you use them. I had somebatteries that I needed to use and they were a year past their shelf life date. The batterieswere still fine and hadn't lost any power. I've always trusted Duracell especiallyin microphones when doing live television. I believe they last longer than other brand batteries. Go for the Copper Top!The new ones I haven't tried out are the "Quantum" series that they've introduced. Can't view myopinion on those yet.
