We bought these as they looked so cool and they sit well on your head. We will be taking these on our next staycaction break in the UK and they will be fab for hiking in wet weather

Considering you get 3 this was a really good deal. Good size for an adult, comes out to around your shoulders. It holds up in light wind but extreme winds you may need to lower the position of the hat. Really impressed with it. Good for camping or festivals.

This review is based on initial receipt of goods. Each umbrella is individually packaged in its own bag. It is evident that there is a quality control issue with regards to accuracy. Let me explain. On trying each umbrella on I found the head band elastic got tighter. The 1st one I would say is what the others should have been like. The 2nd one was slightly tighter and the 3rd one tightest of all, to the extent that it would become painful to wear for long periods. Comparing the triangle sections that make up the umbrella the tension is pulling at the stitching so I do question whether with prolonged use if these will pull through. So it would seem that component parts may well be cut by hand and by eye judgement rather than actual measurement. With the way the umbrella is constructed the metal spoke arms come down to be attached to the elastic head band. This head band then clamps the end of the spoke arms around your head. So the thin plastic end cap will offer very little insulation to prevent a lightening strike from travelling down the spokes straight to your temple presumably with fatal results! So I will not risk using these in an electrical storm or when lightening is possible. That said I expect them to keep my head dry with the run off going down my coat.

Really pleased for the price. The quality is not the best but it is still good. My friend wanted these and they are useful and hilarious in equal measure!

Children love them, keep rain of there glasses when watching sport out doors.

Feels fairly sturdy. I wasn't really expecting much, but I got what I was hoping to buy! Haven't used it yet, but I am slightly concerned that the elastic band for the head may become loose over time. Even so, I probably still wouldn't complain for the price I paid. If it lasts a full season I'd be satisfied.
