Everyone Loved It!
This is a super fun game with several ways to play. It's great for families or small groups or it can be solo entertainment for a kid who wants to experiment with physics.

A Suspenseful & Creative Game for All Ages
he Melissa & Doug Suspend Family Game is an absolute winner for our family game nights. We've had a blast playing it, and it's one of those rare games that genuinely appeals to everyone, from our youngest family members to the adults. The premise is simple but the execution is surprisingly challenging. You start with a simple stand and then take turns adding the notched, rubber-tipped wire pieces. Each piece you add shifts the balance, creating a unique, abstract sculpture. The tension builds with every turn, and the final piece is always a heart-stopping moment. It requires a steady hand and a good eye for balance, making it a fantastic way to develop hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills in a fun way. What I love most is the durability and quality of the game. The pieces are well-made and sturdy, designed to withstand plenty of family use. The setup is quick and easy, and the game itself is fast-paced, which keeps everyone engaged. We've found that it's just as much fun with two players as it is with a larger group. If you're looking for a game that's a fresh take on classic balancing games like Jenga, this is it. It’s a great, screen-free activity that brings everyone together for some lighthearted competition and a lot of laughs. It's a fantastic addition to our game collection.

A Fun Balancing Act for All Ages!
Why It's Fun for All Ages - Easy to Learn, Hard to Master: The concept is simple—add rods to the growing structure without causing it to tumble. Yet, the challenge grows with every turn, making it exciting for kids and adults alike. - Inclusive Gameplay: Whether you're playing with young children, teens, or adults, everyone can enjoy the thrill of steady hands and strategic placement. Even grandparents can join in on the fun! Different Ways to Play - Classic Mode: Follow the instructions and take turns adding rods to the structure. The player who causes the structure to fall loses the round! - Speed Round: Add a timer for each turn to amp up the intensity and laughter. - Team Play: Pair up players and strategize to keep the balance going. This variation is perfect for family gatherings or larger groups. - Creative Builds: Skip the competition and let everyone collaborate to build the tallest or most intricate structure possible. This mode is great for younger children or when you want a relaxed play session. - Challenge Mode: Introduce house rules like “only use your non-dominant hand” or “blindfold one player” to keep the game fresh and exciting. What Makes It Stand Out - Educational Fun: Suspend helps improve hand-eye coordination, focus, and problem-solving skills. - Durable Quality: The pieces are well-made, with a smooth finish that ensures safety for kids. - Compact and Portable: The game comes in a neat package, making it easy to store and take along for vacations or trips.

Fun game, but for older kids
Unfortunately the instructions or on the inside of the label, which cannot be removed from the container unless it is torn up. My kids are younger and they have zero patience for this balancing game, but I like the challenge.

Excellent game!
I had played this with a kid I nannied ages ago, but got it for a kid currently in my care this Christmas. I was delighted to see him start playing with it with his Dad immediately and they were both genuinely enjoying getting the hang of the physics of it. Today we set a personal best: we let the die tell us what order to hang them in and we made it all the way to the last hook before knocking it over. So close! I have lots of games to play with kids of various ages, but this game is actually fun for an adult to play, too. There are lots of ways to adapt the game to each child's level. It's a sturdy game and the plastic tube it comes in should hold up if not abused. This is a game that can be passed down to the next generation (if your child somehow outgrows it before I do.)

Suspend: Love it already!
Had the suspend game open for 15 minutes, and my 8 year old, unprompted, can't stop saying "epic, fun, this is the best game ever!" And all other positive words he can think of. We played a quick round with it and my 12 year old keeps exclaiming how fun it is. Right now the 8 year old is trying to see all the different combinations that can be made before the tower falls to the table and if he can use all of each colored piece, etc. I like how easy this game is. I think my 5 year old will be just as excited to play it as well. I love games that teach and can be used in many ways. This game teaches weight scales and what can tip them, in the most basic sense. When we played it as a game, I honestly didn't read the rules, but told my kids that you take tuns rolling and laying down the color. When the tower falls, you start over; so there are no winners or losers. They were fine with those rules and enjoyed just seeing where they could place the next piece. As an adult, I was highly interested too!

Surprise hit with adults!
I host a small adult game night at a local theater. I purchased Suspend last holiday season and nearly a year later, no one had played it yet. (To be fair, we have dozens upon dozens of games to choose from.) A few weeks ago I was contemplating taking it out of the group of games I haul back and forth each night we play, since the cylindrical shape doesn't pack easily. I figured I'd take the already-packed box of games for November's final game night, then select new games and repack without Suspend. While one person was waiting for a game to join, he pulled out Suspend and started setting it up on the living room table, just to see what the game looked like. A card game ended and those players wandered into the room where Suspend was, and it was decided they'd all try and play a test game of it. For the next hour and forty-five minutes, the Suspend players had several raucous rounds of games going, and by the end of the night, everyone else had gathered around and the room was filled with so much cheering and bantering that it rivaled watching a football game! It was enough fun that several people pulled out their phones to add Suspend to their shopping cart right then and there. Most of the night was spent playing the basic games described in the rules, however we came up with some other game ideas to try another night, including turning it into a drinking game and also combining multiple sets and base points. One thing that contributed to the fun of the game was having it on a lower table that players could easily move around. This was a surprise hit with the adults, who compared it to a modern sort of "Pick-up Sticks vs. Jenga" game. I DO think it might be very challenging for younger kids, though I myself was a pre-STEM kid who probably would have enjoyed this right along with the chemistry and robotics sets I had in 2nd-4th grade. I may not have been able to play this as a kid, or with my own kid as she grew up, but the adults who played this sure made my purchase feel worthwhile!

Não recebi produto íntegro
Por causa da embalagem, a caixa do jogo quebrou e as peças se soltaram dentro do pacote, amassando e/ou retirando a pintura original.

Perfect game for friends, family & yourself
We were introduced to this game by my then 8 year old niece in London. We ended up playing it a lot in the holidays. I bought my own set for this years holidays and we had lots of fun - a group of people ranging from 15 - 53 with an 83 year old avidly watching and contributing with her suggestions on what to do. You can play it by the rules or you can make your own rules. It really gets fun when you are trying to set up someone else for a big crashdown. It also teaches you something about the value of a steady hand, physics and how sometimes structures will stay suspended even if you thought that the whole thing will come flying down. Its a very adaptable game - for big groups or small or you can play it solo and make your own creation. Works with friends, family
