I seriously LOVE the Dream On Me Sunset 3”Extra Firm Mini Crib Mattresses so much that I have them on regular reorder and get a new one every 4 months. Now don’t get me wrong, these are great and I’m sure if used on a travel crib for a baby it would last a long time but I actually use them for my large dog as crate pads. It may sound crazy but these 3” mattress's are the perfect size to fit an extra large dog crate. At 3” it’s not too thick or bulky and works great in my dog’s XL crate. I’ve tried other crate pads for his crate in the past but they were too stiff and hard, too thin or made for durability, not comfort. My dog is about 100 lbs and is a senior at 11 yrs old so I like him to have a nice place for him to sleep, especially since larger dogs tend to have joint problems as they age. The fit is perfect, it’s waterproof, and affordable. He loves his crate and will often go in it to rest during the day as opposed to resting on the floor. He sleeps great on it and an added bonus is it doesn’t retain smells or moisture so it’s easy to wipe clean if he spills a little water. As I said, I buy one of these about every four months but when you consider he weighs 100 lbs I think it’s easy to understand why four months of him sleeping on him turns him into pancakes. I’m sure there are others that would last longer but this particular mattress doesn’t have any hard coil springs in it which means it’s extra safe for him so if you love your dog as much as I do and it happens to be an extra large dog these are great. And I would highly recommend them.

Wonderful fit for the pack and play for my granddaughter. Wonderful for her , she not sleeping on the hard padding. I recommend highly . Good quality works wonders.

AMAZING! It’s nice and firm which is safe for young babies and toddlers ! It’s firmness definitely follows sleep saftey guideline, yet at the same time it Isn’t ROCK HARD like the “mattress” the play pin comes with . It’s still soft enough for back support and comfortability for baby ! It’s a 3 inch mattress like advertised , and it’s also has plastic like material covering which is great for water resistant purposes. The plastic like material that covers the whole mattress is soft enough to not bother baby and I’d well put together. I also placed my own water resistant bed cover for extra protection and longevity of the mattress; it has a softer top that’s easy to wash so it softens the mattress texture even more. The mattress fits beautifully in the Play pin , it’s the perfect size ! I have the cheapest graco pack and play they offer hahaha! . Overall it’s a 10/10, I would recommend if your toddler seems uncomfortable with a hard base or if you’d want your baby to have a little less of a rough surface to sleep on that’s still within safe sleep standards !

I love this mattress. I bought it because I hate the tri-fold plank that is included in the Graco pack n play. It bunches up when you put sheets on it, it’s made of a hard wood that doesn’t feel comfy, and the folds in the middle of it feel unsafe if baby’s face gets caught in it. This mattress is thin enough to comfortably be added to the bassinet insert of the pack n play. It’s firm enough to be safe for baby, and it feels so smooth and comfy when a tight pack n play sheet is added. It fits a standard pack n play sheet. The only thing I don’t like about it is the shiny material that makes so much noise. But for the price, it’s amazing.

I bought this mattress as a replacement for the one in my travel crib. I know everything says to never use a different mattress than the one provided but in my situation this was actually the safer choice. The existing mattress was very thin and easily compressed. When I compressed it with my thumb it created a much steeper indentation. Since my baby is a stomach sleeper, this creates a very dangerous situation. The new mattress (pictures with a patterned sheet) does compress under my thumb but the edges of the indentation were much more shallow. I received my mattress without any attached plastic packaging so while the matress does have the plastic waterproof cover, it was not turn like others have struggled with. It came in a cardboard box. It is very light and fits my crib exactly. I compared measurements to ensure I got the exact right fit. Overall, in very happy with this purchase and have peace of mind that my baby will be safe and comfortable. Edit: used this in my travel crib over the weekend and my little one did great. Had no trouble sleeping on the matress and I was able to relax too. Only downside was that I can't fold it to fit in the bag with the travel crib but it really wasn't a big deal especially since I got a fitted sheet for it. Any dirt from the car just wipes off.

This is the perfect firmness for a baby - not rock hard, as other reviewers would suggest. Baby mattresses are supposed to be firm, for one thing, and for another, when I push my hand into it, there's give, but not so much that I'd worry about baby sinking in. It fits snugly into the DaVinci Kalani Minicrib, and is a great price. The 3 inch depth is plenty considering how firm it is. For those looking for bedding: We bought pack n play sheets for it from Walmart (Garanimals) and Target (Circo). The Garanimals sheets fit, but just barely, after washing. They cause the mattress to bow until you push everything into the minicrib - thank goodness for the tight fit of the mattress, otherwise, I'm not sure they would be safe - so I don't recommend them at all for use with this item. The Circo sheets are a *much* better fit. Both sell 2 for $10 and I wish I'd purchased two sets of the circo sheets instead of one of each. We also got a very nice padded waterproof sheet for a portacrib mattress from buy buy baby (organic by tl care, I think), and a couple of circo changing mats to layer with sheets to make middle of the night sheet changes easy. The whole set up is very cozy and nice. The 3 year old tried everything out and says it's comfy; we're looking forward to using it for our newborn when she arrives.

This mattress is still about 2 inches to narrow to fit in the Graco pack and play. I will have to return it to buy the one that is 2 inches wider.
