The size was perfect for my pocket size. This is a good choice for people who don't like those fly boxes with the foam inserts. I would much rather have all my flies loose in compartments than some fastened and some loose like in those foam boxes. Some people can keep the foam boxes neat, but this is difficult for a mixture of fly sizes.

Love the box! The only thing is the kids do not always stay closed which causes item to spill. The latches could be a bit stronger.

I bought the medium and it is perfect, I use it for a survival fishing kit. I put hooks, swivels, weights, and fishing line in it. It stays in my bugout bag.

I decided I was going to switch to all waterproof containers for my fishing gear. These compact boxes with an o-ring seal are great for snaps, swivels, bobber stops, split rings, small to medium size hooks, small jigs, ice fishing jigs, etc. I am very pleased to be able to organize all my small items in a compact space with an o-ring seal to keep out the rain or if I should drop them in the water. The internal latched clear covers keeps everything in place. Latches work well and the case seems well built. I placed the box full of gear in a sink of water and it floats and submerged it briefly and there was no leakage of water inside.

I like the waterproof nature of these (1 bought 3) but was a little disappointed when i opened the packaging. The separators are cheap plastic slide in type, that always fall out when use the box. The other issue i have is that it is not transparent, so you have to open them to find the one that has the lure you are looking for. Once closed, they are watertight and look nice. I just wish they functioned the same way. I will not buy any more of these.

I have been a fishing guide for over thirty five years and have had dozens of tackle boxes. this one is the worst. thought this would work for blue gill hooks and sinkers. VERY poor construction. The dividers would not keep the small hooks apart. the spring hinges that open the compartment fell apart after two openings. sinkers all over the place. DO NOT buy this piece of garbage. Buy plano instead.
