Men's Classic-Fit 7" Chino Shorts

I was honestly expecting far less than what I received. These are about as perfect as I could hope, and I’ve just put another several pair in my cart, in various colors. The fit is superb! The material is cotton canvas, which is a departure for me, as I prefer merino wool and strategic synthetics. The cloth weight is heavier than I expected, but not overwhelmingly so. I’d think hard-wearing might be a good description, though they feel quite soft, with just a hint of give, or stretchiness. Now, if they were ripstop canvas, that would be even better, but for this price? No way - not gonna happen. The manufacturing is sublime. Every stitch, seam, button, zipper. Perfect. The length on me is perhaps a couple of inches above the knee, which might qualify as too-short these days, but it’s just what I was hoping. The crotch/waist relationship is perfect. I had to return a couple of pair of competing shorts, because I felt the crotch was either too low or the waist too high. These are a great compromise, and I can only see them becoming more accustomed to my body upon fully breaking in. I could wear these in just about any casual situation - with a t-shirt or untucked dress shirt. They’re simple and clean. I used to wear cargo shorts for comfort, but grew tired of the sloppy look of voluminous, externally-applied pockets, and general bagginess. THESE shorts have two front pockets (deep enough for my iPhone Pro Max and lightweight wallet to share. I’ll likely never utilize the buttoned rear pockets, but it’s nice to know they’re available. All of the pockets and the reinforced waistband are built like khaki pants. There’s a dart between each back pocket and the waistband, directly in-line with the back pocket buttons. No darts or gathers in the front. The canvas material which makes up the majority of the shorts, dives deep into the front pockets, such that the white pocket material will never be exposed in casual use. It’s one of my pet peeves to discover that the pocket material is exposed - it won’t be a problem with these shorts. The waistband is fairly narrow, while the belt loops extend another ¾” in length below. One could wear a lightweight sports-style belt of polyester webbing, or as wide as one might dare - perhaps 1½”? I won’t need a belt with these. 100% cotton, made in Sri Lanka. Just beautiful craftsmanship all around. I love these!

Great fit! I discovered Amazon basics pants in an "athletic fit" was what I needed to accommodate my butt and thighs. I then wanted shorts! This is the closest to the same fit. However in the pants I'm a 31w with extra room in case I gain an inch but with the shorts I needed a 32w to fit all over! Great product, great price

Fair quality materials. Fit as advertised. Picture could represent the color better. Red more faded than expected, but ok for the price.

These are my husband's third pair of shorts. He wears them often because the print makes them just a little bit more dressy. They are comfortable and fit well.

Good shorte ilove them i had ordered a size 32 but were a bit tight so had to return em (yes this was on me) and ordered me a size 36 and they fit great!! Buying other colors in the future

Calling these size 34 is a bit of a stretch. Maybe the waistband is actually 34 inches, but my relaxed fit 34 Levis jeans and Lucky brand pants are way too big. And I can't even get these to button. Classic fit should fit a regular sized butt. These are slim fit if they are 34.

Comfortable shorts at a great price. Definitely recommend sizing up. Based on reviews I ordered a 34 even though I usually wear a 32 and while comfortable, definitely snug.

Comfortable and stylish.

Really a very nice pair of shorts. I’m 5ft 10”, so average height, but I’m quite big built so finding a good fit has been hard work. The fit of these shorts is perfect, just above the knee and waist size is spot on. They don’t ride down after sitting or kneeling and stay properly in place. Retain their shape as well. With 2 side pockets and 2 buttoned back pockets that are the right size for wallet, mobiles etc. The maternal is of a good weight as well, no too heavy but not so light that comfort might be compromised. Easily smart enough for holidays and casual wear but also for events or functions where smarter looking shorts are required, such as the golf course and some hotels that frown upon cargo or beach style shorts. Colour is perfect and the material looks as if it will be quite durable. Really nice shorts that I’m sure will last a long time. In fact after wearing just once, I’ve ordered a second pair. Overall, functional, decent wearing, smart clothes
