Excellent rod so far.
I have XXXH model which I have pair with an Okuma makaria 20. I will start by saying this is the only โrail rodโ I own and l have never fished on the West Coast for big tuna. Im a Florida Gulf coast fishermen. Iโm not sure if this rod is an entry level rail rod or if it was meant to be a high end rod at an entry level price. Either way, this is an excellent rod for the price. I bought this rod to be an Amberjack whomping stick. That being said, I decided to take this rod out on a pier and try my luck to see if I could hook into something big. I was lucky enough to hook into a 200 pound nurse shark from off the pier. Nurse sharks are not the hardest fighting shark in the gulf but it was a good benchmark to see what this rod can do. Overall the rod performed very well. The pier I was on had concrete railings which I ended using for leverage. My intention was to fish this rod as hard as I possibly could to make sure it will hold up when I take it offshore for AJs. Surprisingly the foregrip held up really well to the concrete with only a few barely visible scratches. Granted I wouldnโt recommend doing that. The look and feel of this rod is nothing short of amazing. The rod components are from well known companies. I didnโt test the sensitivity of this rod out. I had the rod in a rod holder with the clicker on when I caught the nurse shark. I plan on updating this review after I test it out on an offshore trip. I will also provide a long term update to report on saltwater corrosion resistance. Iโm the meantime, I will say this rod is a super bargain and worth trying out.

Good price on a tuna capable rod
Best bang for your buck on an 80-130lb rod

Quality components, lifetime warranty and affordable
Initial observation: Rod is beautiful. Foregrip is long enough for rails. Rod is light and stout. Will pair with a 40nld2. Reel and rod sit perfectly. Intentding to live bait for bluefin tuna. Looking to get another pch for lighter game.

Beautiful rod
I thought I was ordering a spinning rod as the picture is a little deceiving and neither casting not spinning is listed in the description at the time of ordering. This rod is for a casting reel. If I was ordering this for a casting reel I would have gave it 5 stars. This rod was well built and rock-solid. Even the price was on point. If I ever purchase another casting reel I will definitely buy this rod.

Very nice rod
Paired mine with a Penn International VISX16 w/ 100# braid. Taking it down to SD in a few weeks targeting big blue fin. Iโll update this review if we get into them!

Affordable and worthy rail rod.
Did itโs job. Fished 100# line, 25# of drag. Landed 8 fish with it, no problems. Giving 4 out of 5 because the fore grip where it was laid out on the rail flattened just a bit but not bad.
