Fit and design do not work for sleeping
After prostate surgery, I have had some minor night time leaks. I wanted to find something re-usable and washable so I could stop carrying and using bulky disposable underwear while sleeping, especially when camping or traveling. This product does NOT work for that. I sent this back for a refund - it's a good idea, but poorly executed.First, the pocket is made from somewhat stiff and bulky foam and is much too long top to bottom. It is poorly designed to fit properly (and I am 5'9" 160 lbs 36" waist average size). The too-long pocket, along with its stiff foam makes the pocket buckle in the middle, creating a half inch gap at each side. This makes this device absolutely useless for sleeping as leaks will just run out either side. The waist band (L) fit me fine, so going to a smaller size would not have helped. The pocket needs a re-design. It has just one tuck at the bottom to roughly shape it. It sorely needs better tailoring, with more tucks to round out the pocket and seal the sides. It also needs to be made from more flexible and less bulky material. Finally, the elastic is pretty flimsy. I doubt it would stand up to much use.

Light capacity and side leakage
My wife liked the way they looked on me, but fortunately I put them to the test in private. I had leakage out the sides before the pad was fully soaked.

best i have tried
Concept of a pocket to place the absorbent filler is very smart. can be a little bulky but is well worth a try. i use it when play golf or take a long walk which causes leakage after radical prostatectomy. Will now buy a second unit. hope this helps.
