Marchpower Arc-Chill Cooling Blanket for Hot Sleepers Twin Size Gray

I wake up drenched in sweat a lot so I was excited to give this cooling blanket a try ! The blanket has two dofferent sides that feel different . The cooling side feels icy cold to the touch and the other side is soft and breathable ! If I start feeling too cold I can just flip it over . I chose the queen size and it is perfect for my bed. The tie-dye design is so cute-it adds a fun little touch instead of just looking like a plain boring blanket. It's lightweight, soft, and breathable without feeling too thin. There is not much weight to it , so if you like weighted blankets this is probably not for you , but I myself, do not like weighted blankets. This blanket won't magically make your room freezing cold ( it works really well with your fan or ac on along with it !) , but it will definitely help keep you more comfortable throughout the night! I would buy it in a different color!

I’ve been using this cooling blanket here in Texas and it’s been really helpful on those hot nights. It actually feels cool when you first lie down, which makes it much easier to fall asleep without overheating. I like the double-sided design too — one side has that cooling feel for summer, and the other is softer and warmer for cooler nights. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and still feels nice after washing. Overall, just a simple, comfortable blanket that really helps if you get too hot at night.

I really didn't like this blanket when I first received it, but I kept it anyway. Now, I find that I use it often in the evening sitting in a comfortable chair relaxing. The cool side really does feel cool. It is light weight which is good. Sometimes the air conditioner can make you cold in the evening and this blanket's other side is just enough warmth in this situation.

Definitely worth the money and keeps my body very cool

I've realized most of the negative comments that made me apprehensive were made by people who failed to do their homework or had unrealistic expectations. I've been using this a week now and love it. It is very thin and soft and lightweight, which is what I was looking for. This isn't a traditional blanket and it's not thick and fluffy so don't expect that. We have Red Land cotton sheets that are thick and hold heat. A thick comforter on top of those is unbearable. This blanket on top of that sheet is still very cool and I have not had any night sweats. If I wanted it even cooler it I can ditch my top sheet. This isn't a "cooling" blanket, it just does not hold heat it. It sure seems to balance my body heat with the ambient room temp. Very please with the look, feel and quality. If that changes I will post an update. No odor out of the package like some review said, no idea what they were talking about. I ordered a queen size because my wife likes to sleep in between 580-725° so I didn't want to cover our entire king size bed. Now she wants me to order a king size blanket so this one will move to the couch.

When I first got this blanket, I was absolutely in love. It works. It actually works. Summers in Phoenix get really hot, and I’m already a hot sleeper, so I have searched for a way to stay cool at night for years. This was the perfect solution. It’s a perfect weight and it was so incredibly silky smooth and cool that I was so pleased, I bought several more for the rest of my family. It’s been a few months now, and yes, it still sleeps cool and I still love the weight of the blanket- light enough that I don’t feel weighted down, but heavy enough to not move at all with the ceiling fan blowing on it, but it has pilled terribly. The entire side that touches my body (the cool side that was originally silky smooth) is now so rough that it’s really not that comfortable to have touching my skin. So now I’m torn. It still works, but not comfortably so. Such a bummer, because it really was the perfect blanket for the first few months.

Holy cow! I got this on sale and out of desperation. I am in early menopause. My nightsweats are unbearable at times. I wasn't getting any sleep, despite my fan. The blanket had a return policy so I decided to give it a try. I can't believe how fabulous this blanket is! Let me preface this review by saying I also bought sheets and pajamas that are specifically for nightsweats as well so that also made a difference. The thing about the sheets and blanket are that for the most part they just feel like lightweight sheets and blankets. And that alone makes a difference. But the magic happens when you turn the fan on!! The blanket is meant to be used with the silky side up. Or that's my understanding from the directions. The air from the fan goes right through the sheets and blanket as if you weren't covered at all! You still feel the weight, but somehow, it not only lets the air flow right through it, it almost amplifies the coolness. If I get a bigger hot flash than usual, I kick my leg out and lay it on the silky surface of the blanket and it helps cool me down. As soon as that particular spot warms up because of my body temperature, I move it to a different spot and the warm spot cools down instantly! Like I said, the sheets I bought also help because they also allowed the air to flow through them so they don't inhibit the blanket. And I bought pajamas for people that suffer hot flashes and they are also very light weight and allow air to flow through. Honestly though, if you only have the money for one thing to help you sleep more cooly at night, this should be your pick. I love it so much I bought a 2nd one and I've told everyone I know about it. I was a complete skeptic, but now I'm a true believer! This blanket is a fricking miracle. You won't be disappointed! Update: My 2nd blanket came and despite another review that said it doesn't work if you lay on it, I tried it anyway. I put the 2nd blanket under me silky side up. It does get warm like everything else I put under me. I was going to give up after the 1st night just because I didn't need the extra laundry if it wasn't helping. BUT the 2nd night I got up to use the bathroom and in the few minutes I was gone the fan had completely cooled the bottom blanket and my bed was comfortable to get back into!!! Now if I wake up because I'm hot underneath, I just scoot over and let the fan blow on the blanket and I'm right back to sleep in moments. Again, the fan makes the magic happen. The blanket still has all the same qualities without a fan, but if you really want it to work its full potential, get a fan. You won't regret it. This is the most helpful sleep aid I've tried in years and I live in recreational pot state. Lol

My husband gets hot easily and he loves using this as it helps him control wanting it to cool him down or warm him up. We ended up buying the smaller size first to try and then the bigger one. Fabric feels soft and nice on the skin

I bought this being a little doubtful, on arrival I saw it is made of good quality material and the seams are well finished. I’ve used it now for a few weeks and I am completely satisfied so much so I recommended it to my friend who also purchased. My night flashes have been reduced greatly and I don’t wake up as much during the night.
