Yangbaga Metal Cat Litter Scoop: Detachable Long Handle Litter Scooper

Where has this been all of my cat owning years?? It's sturdy, has a long handle, and makes scooping the box so much easier!! The only thing I might suggest is maybe one more length to be able to add to the handle when needed.

Great durable scooper, I especially like that you can adjust the length. I rescue kitties and have a lot of boxes and really appreciate this solid scoop. Much better than the plastic ones that crack.

Update: Well I purchased scooper in August 2022 and it lasted till May 2025...unfortunately while scooping the handle broke in two where you screw the bars together. I'm still pleased with my purchase as it has lasted well over 2 years. I have 5 cats so I've used the heck out of it multiple times day. My only complaint about the scooper is that it would come unscrewed and I would have to tighten it daily. So maybe that's why it broke in two. My new best friend.... I hurt my knee so I'm not able to bend down as much so I came across this larger scooper. Boy has this made a my life so much easier. It's just the right size for me and pretty sturdy. I will say it does come unscrewed just a little from the lower part from time to time, but it just takes a sec to retighten, so no biggie! Overall I'm very pleased with the scooper.

I really liked using a long scooper instead of having to bend down more with a normal scooper. An issue I had with this one that I did not have with my smaller metal scooper is that clumps would stick to it really badly, so I’d have to scrape off the clumps often or else they’d just be covered in clay. This one lasted me almost a full year before the scoop snapped off of the handle attachment. I was shocked, but I was also just told that I tend to scoop pretty forcefully (massive piles that I struggle to lift), so maybe it was user error. I’m not sure how long this is supposed to last but I just didn’t think it’d break like that. Something to be aware of! My other scooper, which has a normal small handle, is still in great condition.

I like this as it seems very well made. I can add the longer handle or not. Most importantly, I'm not having to bend to the ground when I clean our cats litter box.

Bought because 2 cats require frequent and thorough litter box care. Longer handle helps me (my wife usually does this chore) avoid near blackouts my meds cause when bending over too long. The length also provides leverage, and the large metal scoop is much better than the previous short plastic handled one we used until it broke.

No more bending down to scoop litter boxes! Genius! Love it!

Not the answer to my scoop needs. It works fine to grab the easy surface stuff but not that good digging around. It’s plenty sturdy, just not the right leverage for me. I’ll add this to my other three scopes and continue my search for the perfect tool.

I like that you can use this cat litter scooper half way or make it longer by screwing into the other piece. Definitely make it easier on my lower back. I normally get pain when i bend down farthur to scoop. With this i didn't have to. Plus it is also very strong which works for the litter we use. When the cats piss in there a lot it clumps like hard and really sticks to the plastic kitty litter box. With this you can dig it like a shovel lol. Will make it easier to wash too as it is metal. I am happy with this as it works for us!

Easy to put together, made of solid materials and a good length. Perfect for scooping without stooping.

This one stays up. I have purchased others that fail in the telescopic aspect. This one does not fail, so I am very grateful as nothing says gross like a telescopic failure when one is cleaning the litterbox...Strong, sturdy, happy with this.

The scoop is solid stainless steel, with a long handle to you don’t have to bend as much to clean the litter box. I was tired of replacing flimsy plastic scoops, so this steel one should last a lifetime. Sometimes the handle loosens at the joint where the extension pole meets the midpoint, hence the 4 * instead of 5. Just screw it back in to tighten and you’re good to go. Otherwise, it’s perfect.

Strong and durable. Works well to dig out smelly stuff from the corner of the litter box.
