Officially Licensed NFL Hover Helmet

The problem with most levitating lamp things like this is that it is difficult to get the thing (helmet, globe, etc.) to levitate without dropping or getting attached to the top. This one comes with a little measuring spoon looking thing that works perfectly to space the helmet so that it floats in the air. Genius. It's exactly what it appears to be. The lights in the base are LED or similar, so the light is not diffuse, somewhat detracting from the lighting. Of course, you're not buying this for the light, so that should not really matter.
