I only buy Epson cartridges for my Epson printer. I tried buying an after-market cartridge once and it was a failure.

EPSON 302XL
It pays to pay attention. XL last longer. I had been buying 302 in the package with the other colors HOWEVER, when I finally looked at the box, ONLY the black cartridge was XL, the other colors were just 302 which meant they ran out faster. Not anymore. Buying all XL separately. Much cheaper.

Look at the Packaging Carefully to Avoid Generic Brands
I accidentally ordered generic cartridges, cloaked in Epson "look alike" packaging. They do not work in Epson printers. Buy the real thing and don't waste your money on useless generic cartridges.

Not Happy with Epson
I have an old Epson 6000? I replace the Cysn ink cartridge with a magnifacture replacement. After installation, it did not recognized as an Genuine Epson product. I reordered a new cartridge this time a Genuine Epson 302 XL Cyan. After installation the printer still does not recognized the cartridge as Genuine Epson. Tried few times and still not recognizing it as a Genuine Epson Product. I would like a Refund and the printer went to the dump. Will be replaced by another Brand, NOT Happy, no more Epson products.
