This mascara is great, it provides great volume and if layered it gives a very nice dimension to your eyelashes. It’s not clumpy and the waterproof formula really stays on. I am glad I found it.

About me: I like mascaras that dont flake, that provide a lot of volume, separates and defines my lashes, holds a curl all day, and very very black. My lashes are about average in fullness and very straight, borderline curl-resistant. I usually prefer a dry mascara formulation to keep my lashes from being weighed down. About this mascara: It doesn't flake off, it provides moderate volume, separates and defines lashes well, holds a curl moderately well, and is quite black (but not the blackest). I don't feel this adds a ton of length to my lashes, but that isn't a value to me. I re-apply this mascara halfway into my day to maintain the volume and color of my intial application. I find recurling my lashes after I apply my first coat ensures my curl is held all day. I find this product removes well with coconut oil or any oil based makeup remover. This is perfect for an everyday casual makeup look, but perhaps not best suited for an evening/glam look. For additional drama, I recommend adding a coat of Maybelline's The Falsies (waterproof formula). TL; DR Pros: doesn't flake, itsn't clumpy, seperates and defines lashes, holds curl fairly well, pretty black. Cons: not incredibly black and isn't buildable enough to take your look full glam.

I’ve tried so many mascaras that I can’t name them all , but I think I’ve found a keeper with Maybelline New York Volum’ Express😊 goes on and stays on but is still easy to remove . I give it a 10

This is my new favorite mascara. I am always looking for something that will actually be as waterproof as it claims, and can stand up to my daily routine without making me look like a raccoon or like I've been crying. I've had success with high end makeup brands, but I definitely can't afford to be spending that much every 3 months. I bought Maybelline New York Volume' Express The Rocket Waterproof Mascara when I got fed up with the most recent "waterproof" makeup I tried. I am so impressed with the staying power of this mascara! I never have dark circles under my eyes, it only requires one coat, and looks very natural. I wear it daily and people have been asking me if I just have naturally thick and long lashes. That was a first for me! I can apply multiple coats easily for a more dramatic nighttime look, and it looks a lot like I have false lashes on. I haven't noticed any flaking or clumping, but I have noticed that the mascara gives lots of volume and length. Just be mindful that you may need to adjust your eye makeup remover to compensate for the fact that it is waterproof. I've gone in the pool with this on and come out with it looking almost exactly like it did when I first applied it. I have purchased this mascara several times at this point, but I thought I should finally write a review and let other people know how much I like it. I hope the product is around for a long time!

This mascara is hard core, it is so difficult to take off at the end of the day. So if you are looking for durability of mascara, this is almost bullet proof, at least make up cloth removing proof. It goes on easily and smoothly. However, I find that it causes my lashes to be rather clumpy after a few swipes (not allowing it to dry in between). I almost wish I had a comb for my lashes before it dries. It is an ok mascara, great color and staying power, but I don't want my lashes sticking together as easily, where I can easily get 'spider' legs as lashes.

I found a new mascara. It's rather perfect. no spider lashes, no smearing, no fading. just simple lash paint that I don't have to fuss over. I can put it on before work, get home and play with my twins, make lunch, sweat, rub my face, cry, and change my contacts without this deciding to rebel. Also, it comes off easy with my makeup removing liquid (Garnier Micellar Cleansing water Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Waterproof Makeup Remover, 3.4 Fluid Ounce )

Current HG waterproof mascara. I've been using this for about 2-3 years now and don't plan on discontinuing use unless Maybelline decides to discontinue it like they did for my last two HG mascaras.... I should say that I have naturally long and curled eyelashes, but they're on the lighter and thinner side, so this helps make them slightly thicker and slightly longer, and definitely makes them dark. I put on about 2-3 coats every day when doing my makeup and my eyelashes look very full but still natural and not flakey like a lot of other girls' mascaras I see. The waterproof formula is a bit tricky to get off however, as it should be, and has barely streaked or melted while I wear it, even while swimming in the pool or at the beach. I use Albolene to get it off with the rest of my makeup, and that seems to do the trick. Love this stuff and hope it doesn't get discontinued like Maybelline's previous mascaras that I used to use. (Included a photo of me wearing it without any other eye makeup after an 8-hour day of classes)

I love this mascara - I've used this make for a few years now. It doesn't clog or blob onto my skin when I put it on - and it stays nice all day.

Es una máscara que me gusta mucho, pues cumple lo que promete. La fórmula no es grumosa y el cepillo separa las pestañas, además de que es perfecta si vives en un clima húmedo o algún sitio donde llueve mucho, pues por la cualidad de ser aprueba de agua no hay manera de que se corra. Recomiendo adquirir un desmaquillante propio para las fórmulas a prueba de agua, puesto que es un poco difícil de retirar.

For the last five years I've been using nothing but the Rocket. I refuse to purchase anything else, the brush is perfect for scraggly lashes and adds both length and volume. The waterproof one stands up to Canadian summer heat and humidity, workouts, and long days at work. The regular formula is amazing for just daily use. Comes off with face wash.

Good product but clogs on lashes. So only 3stars.
