I ordered this pigtail because I had to replace the old one that connected to the blower motor control module on my 2011 Malibu LTZ. This kit comes with 5 splice connectors and 5 pieces of shrink wrap tubing to keep everything tight and moisture free. This kit is ideal for someone who needs all the particulars for this pigtail installation, minus the wire cutting/crimping tool of course. The pigtail itself was a perfect fit, nice and tight. The installation was easy and straightforward, but since the leads are all the same color on this replacement, I would HIGHLY recommend splicing it in ONE WIRE AT A TIME. That way you can avoid having to track down a wiring diagram and re-doing the install! So long story short, my Malibu hvac has been working flawlessly ever since! If you are in the market for this particular connector I can whole heartedly reccomend it!

When I initially got the item I was very pleased. It came quick, easy to install and it worked (back in July). It is now November 20, 2021 and it has burned up once again only a few short months later. Already have to buy a new one but I'm going to order a different one this time. So not so happy anymore.

I'm writing this review 3 months after installing this pigtail along with the blower motor resistor on a 2011 Ford Fusion and the A/C has been working perfectly. I keep it on all the time (Texas heat) and there's no evidence of overheating at the resistor terminals or at the pigtail connector, so that speaks well about the quality of the product. Definitely a good purchase.

Part received with clip broke so now it won’t stay plugged in. Was easy to install going to have to buy a new one hopefully it won’t be broke too

The connector is the exact shape. The wire is the exact gauge(14). I found only the two wires going to the motor were burned. I took this connector body apart and installed the original wires in it. Then I cut the burned pieces off and spliced the new wires to the original. Works like a champ! You could splice all of them in - it’s a nice kit.

Silly.... the butt connectors look well sized in pic to do the job....but the internal diameter of the metal connecting tube inside is too small for the wires to fit into Youll have to use "other" butt connectors Wire tips are advertised as copper tinned with solder They sure look like aluminum or some other metal I didnt want to strip the jacket off to see Also whatever metal it is....its hard to tin with a soldering iron. The 5 pin connector itself fits well though. If im wrong about the wires being non_copper) then ok But im just trying to give people a heads up

The connector worked fine but the butt connectors they send with them don't fit OEM wires so you better order or get different sized butt connectors because you'll be mad when you can't get them on the OEM wires
