I purchased this phone holder as didn’t want anything Mounting on the windscreen or air vents, to give a clean look. When I initially tried sticking the mount to the dashboard it just came straight off which wasn’t the best. I re read the instructions and it suggested heating the sticky pad with a hairdryer ( especially in cold weather ) to assist with adhesion. I warmed the sticky pad up with the hairdryer for around 20 seconds and stuck it to the dashboard, pressing it on for again around 20 seconds. It hasn’t budged since, and am really happy with it. The magnet is powerful and the phone just pulls off without issue, yet is held securely. There are 2 different sized metal adhesive mounts to stick to your phone to allow it to magnetise to the mount. I stuck mine inside my phone case and works superb. Excellent item would highly recommend.

Powerful magnet, compact design and easy to install. I was so impressed with this phone holder I bought 2 more! I’ve bought many over the years and I’m so glad to have found this one. It’s in one word, perfect! No cheap plastic tat that can snap just a simple, well engineered design.

my car is hard to find a place for a phone mount and has no convenient vents to use so this seemed the best option. the magnets were not strong enough to hold my phone and it fell into the footwell going over a speed bump. luckily i had a passenger in the car who could pick my phone up off the floor before it got stuck somewhere. i assumed that this was maybe due to me having a phone case on (it is a mag safe case and so should have been fine) so i took my phone case off next time i drove and hoped that would be the end of it. the magnet worked much better straight onto my phone but then the stickiness not good enough. i had prepped the area with the alcohol wipe as directed and left plenty of time before using for the first time. the whole thing came loose from my dashboard dropping my phone into the footwell yet again. may work better if your phone is incredibly light i guess but i’ve had to order a second cradle mount instead of this one. would not recommend.

It's awesome, I have been able to position the stand in such a way that my phone doesn't obstruct the windscreen, I'm really happy with it. Easy to follow instructions, I love the size and my phone doesn't move from the magnet. The magnet on the back of my phone is not an issue either.

I find this phone holder good because it’s very easy to install and place/remove from the magnetic pad. In the pack you get a couple of different plates that stick to your phone. While they do stick quite well, it might put people off who don’t like the idea of having one stuck to your phone, and unless your case is rather thin, the magnet won’t hold very well if you put the pad under your case. I’d also like to point out it came with only one spare sticky pad to stick the holder to your dashboard, while these are quite good, they don’t last forever and will need replacing depending on the weight of your phone and exposure to hot temperature which I find tends to almost melt the glue. (Note this isn’t a bad point about the product as any you buy like this will have this issue, even the window suction ones) Thumbs up from me.

I own a 3 year old BMW it has proberly the worst sat nav money could buy its absolute rubbish. It has graphics that a five year old could have done better . That's that out of the way so I need another sat nav system. I do own a tom Tom but even though it has lifetime updates it won't connect with my pc. So I have to use my phone. Thats why I purchased this holder. I have had a vent holder ,and a suction holder with sliding grips for the phone. But both of these lasted only a short time the moving parts soon broke . Cheap brittle plastic being the cause and vent holders are just not secure enough. So I thought last go at this try the magnet type. I opted for the little stick on one because of my previous experiences with vent holders. I have one of those bean bag weighted holders that I had for my Tom tom i will stick this to that. I tested the magnet first before sticking anything and it is an extremely strong magenet it sticks like brown stuff to a blanket. Happy with that so the next test before fitting, was to try the GPS with the magnet in place without sticking it. Some buyers said in their reviews it did not work with GPS because of the magnets. I did check with amazon questions and was assured by many purchasers it would not be a problem . I am happy to report that even with the magnets GPS functions perfectly. So magnet fitted to my case of my galaxy note ten plus everything seemed fine . I fitted the ball and socket mount to the bean bag again perfect. I tried taking the phone off that was easy no clips to slide and move. Because the mount was fitted to the bean bag thing i picked it up with phone attached. I then shook it vigorously over the passenger seat i did try to shake both the phone or the mount off . Nothing moved so at this point I know I have eventually cracked my sat nav problems.a phone holder that keeps the phone secure,doesnt move when pressing the phone buttons,but is easily removed the magnet fights back a little but not enough for one hand removal. The sat nav app i have enables HUD display basically you point the phone at the windscreen and it projects the same information on the glass great at night and no eyes off the road . Again easy with this fitted to the bean bag just turn the phone using the ball and socket mount. So I am a happy bunny GPS works the mount is really secure I can use the HUD on my app this is perfect for my needs. All was well until I placed the phone on my wi fi charger no matter where I placed the phone the charger ,because of the magnet could not connect with the phone. I can remove the case and it works fine but its a pain removing the case every time . That's the purpose of a wi fi charger ease of use drop the phone on and no messing with wires. So I have to weigh up the issues. I have a phone holder which so far is perfect, solid no fear of the phone falling off,works with GPS doesnt move when using the phone screen. The only issue is the wi fi charging i have to remove the case to enable this. I think the pros outweigh the cons considerably. I have decided to move the wi fi charger next to my bed and use it while charging overnight. So not much chance of getting a call and using and possibly dropping an expensive phone without its protective case. As for charging during the day I will use a cable connector so if I get a call the protective case will be in place. That is the only and very small compromise I have had to make using this element phone holder. The fitting is a dream you could get a child to do it the instructions are easy to follow and you get pads which protect the phone from damage or marking from the adhesive. And spare adhesive pads and a spare magnet. The magnets come in two different sizes a larger rectangle one and a smaller circular one. I assume the rectangular magnet would be for the larger plus phones. Maybe if I used the smaller circular magnet the wi fi charger might have worked. However im happy that this is worth forgoing the wi fi charging. The other important thing to mention is the mount is really small and when not in use totally unintrusive. You would not notice it unless you were looking for it , depending where you stick it. It is the best phone mount I have purchased it really works and will keep your phone safe when driving .
