Bb Clarinet SP Presence by Seles Silver Plated Keys

Thie is a terrific clarinet. I have the model with the added Eb key. Selmer has done a great job with the sound and playability of this horn. I nhave owned scads of clarinets, Yamaha, Buffet (including the prestige line) several Lablanc, and the list goes on and on. This one works better for me than any others to date, and this is 40 years of experience speaking.As with many clarinets, E4 and F4 are a bit flat, which can be fixed by use of the side Eb/Bb key. High F# is flat, once again, like most clarinets. Alternate fingerings aid this. But aside from the typical intonation problems associated with clarinets, the Seles has a very balanced sound. Not every horn fits every person. This one has become my goto horn for gigging and enjoyment playing. It should be on anyone's short list to try out.
