I’ve been using these linear actuators for more than three years. I use it for a wheelchair lift, to get my wheelchairs in and out of my car, so reliability is of the utmost importance! It is by far the most reliable piece of equipment I’ve seen for this purpose. Customer support and technical help is superb! I’m buying my second unit, not because the first one in any way is deteriorating, but I’m using a faster model. (It’s actually the same unit, with different gearing.) Again, if I could give them 6 stars, I would!

Installed on a lift that looks like a running board. The running board goes to the ground and up using a remote fob. A 300 pound person creates about 1000 pounds load on the linear actuator. My setup has a 1:3 ratio. I added 100 pounds to 900 to get to 1000 pounds. The 2000 pound actuator does the job with ease. I used the 8" stroke and added limit switches. This actuator replaces the obsolete HydraMotion cylinder S/N 11245. Motor marked PE270980 12VDC. Lift designed by Startrack(s) Lifts in Indiana in 2018.

We bought one of these in February to control an eastern wall installed on an observatory. It last about six months and motor started making weird noises and vibrating excessively. This is supposed to have an 18 month warranty but return info cannot even be accessed on Amazon. We bought another one (same model) and so far, it’s ok. Old one is just large paperweight.

Quality made item through and through. No grease???Waaat?? Powerful and smooth. The 16" is not an exact fit for a sundancer 420DA.p robably just get the 14"..will be "replace plug and play". I had to modify the bracket to get the Hatch to close completely but it lifts the Hatch smoothly and efficiently far better than the OEM with no grease to maintain. The most important thing with this is to measure the compressed length of your old unit not the extended length. I made that error. I would have returned this in order to 14 but I had already cut off the connector to place it into my electrical. 6 months later I'm still smiling every time I open the hatch

Works great, very strong. I ordered the wrong size so to return it and order another. The new one works great, does the job nicely, however dealing with Amazon support regarding the return was a very bad experience. I returned it the day after it arrived, and here I am almost 4 weeks later still waiting for my $322. I’ve had to deal with no less than 7 customer service reps at Amazon , some lying to me saying my refund is just 3-4 days away, and now being told I have to wait another 2 weeks. I have a friend that ordered an expensive ( cost more than my item ) table and chair set that they wanted to return because it wasn’t exactly what they thought it would be. Amazon told them to not return it, just keep it as a good will gesture, and they would send a similar replacement …. No cost! The Amazon return policies seem to be like leaves in the wind, blowing in all different directions, just depends on how lucky you are in the return process . VERY FRUSTRATED !

Larger than what It claims to be 2½ inches longer than advertised also really really slow movement! Other than that I can make it work with some major modifications
