This matcha is soo good i cant stop buying it! its such a nice blend & thats that perfect earthy green texture & color. its not sweetened but makes up for it through its consistent taste. i find this brand to be organically harvested & true to its product

used to be good value but since i found this in 2025 the price went for $8 or $9 to $11-$13 jump in few months and now, within a month and a half the price has risen by $3 from Jan 2026 to March 2026. now it is the same price as any other matcha both good and bad. its still good but not the same great price as before! Wish I bought multiple two packs when it was $18 for 2. It may be tariffs changing the price or greed from success, but im sad its basically going to be $20 very very soon. will try to find another better deal but this used to stand out in the market for price and quality. luckily even with price, you save some money making matcha at home then buying it at a cafe as often, but still a very crazy jump in price!!!

What i love about this matcha powder is that it has a beautiful green so that’s a good thing. This matcha is amazing because usually culinary grade matcha in other brands have a very dull and yellowish shade but this one is a perfect green. The taste is amazing i love it. The price is not even bad for culinary. Anyways i’d repurchase this over and over again!

Okay, I've been on my matcha journey and I've been buying and seeing those alternatives that I like and don't like and the experience I had with this tea is that it tastes more like tea and if you don't like a tea flavor you're going to need to sweeten it, I like it but that's all I can say about it, I also want to say that it comes with little quantity in a relatively small tin but you don't need much so it's worth it to me, if you want one that has a less strong tea flavor, Culinary is not for you but the universal quality

It's decent quality and worked for a few drinks. Packed in a bag inside the can, which empties into about half of the can's volume.

This was my second purchase of matcha on Amazon. The first brand i tried was Jade Leaf Organics 1 oz. in a pouch. I thought that the Jade Leaf brand smelled sort of fishy, like seaweed. It was also out of stock when i ran out, so I ordered this brand. Not only is Maeda-En less expesive on Prime (at time of writing this) but it tastes much better. I opened it and it smells like TEA, not like seaweed or fish. I made a cup of it with some warm cashew milk, agave, water and pumpkin pie spice (be sure to use an frother or special stir made for tea, a spoon wont break up lumps) and it tasted very good - much better than the other brand. I also like that it comes in a little can with a lid instead of a pouch. I am not sure if drinking it really helps with weight loss or energy, but i figure if its suppsed to equal 10 cups of regular green tea i will keep trying it for a while. I will keep ordering this brand instead as i feel it is much better tasting and the fact that it costs a little less is a bonus.

I love this - it dissolves, tastes lovely not bitter, I got this at my asian market but now they stopped carrying it so I am getting it here. Excellent quality. I lie using this so that I can decide how much sugar or none. I can totally use this without sugar though, I put a small amount of water in a glass, then add a small egg spoon amount of matcha powder and mix it to a paste. Then add almond milk or coconut milk or cow milk. Then add ice. Stirr - delicious! Green tea and matcha helps fight cancer and contains anti oxidants - bonus!
