Brilliant! So glad to have bought this to provide shade on the patio with the recent heatwave. Definitely made a huge difference to reduce the temperature. Well constructed although a few extra grommets on the side would have made it easier to position for us.

Not fully tested as it was bought to deflect sun and heat away from the tent when camping and it never got that hot during our recent trip. We did however use it to create a pleasant canopy area over the front of the tent which was noticeably cooler to sit under. Our tent is big so we went large on the Aluminet which meant we struggled slightly on our first use. For future trips we think our best way of using it will be with multiple king poles. We have considered if we can use it at home with hooks on the house and king poles on the patio.

We bought one of these sun shades to use on our car when we are camping or at Flyball Dog competitions to create a cool den for our dog when the sun gets too hot. It comes in various sizes and has metal ringed loops around the edge so you can bungee or tie this down to the ground or car. It is made of a metallicized material which reflects the sun back really well and the car was noticeably cooler than when we have just covered it with towels or a blanket. It also comes with some small ball bungees (to add weight to the edges) and a bag to carry it in. This is a simple product, that works really well, but my only reservation is that it is a little overpriced for what it is and you also have to time your purchase on Amazon to get free postage, otherwise the added cost for postage is extortionate. This is still definitely worth considering though and we have bought two.

While these are mainly advertised for outdoor use, we used them as curtains during the recent heatwave. They did more to keep our bedrooms cool than any fan, reflecting sunlight away from our window. I recommend this product over some of the options designed for indoor use, as we tested some of them and found the quality of the adhesive tape to be poor. Conversely, this product can be attached in multiple ways thanks to the eyelets.

Used this to cover my hens coop/run in the heatwave, did create great shade although obviously could do nothing about the ambient temperature. Anyway, created great shade, large enough to do the job I got it for and pretty inexpensive.

Excellent for protecting the dogs from the heat.

Good combination of solar reflection (ie heat from sunlight) but allowing usable light through. Allows strong airflow due to the weave. Used for shading S Facing patio, without having to black out.

I don't know how it should work, but it didn't work in my case. I covered the entire roof and walls with this cloth, the result is 31°C outside, 32,3°C inside, and the temperature keeps rising. There's no point in paying for something that doesn't work.
