Bloch Dance Unisex-Adult Women's Audeo Jazz Tap

I'm sure the shoes will be fine once we get the right size, but these ran smaller and tighter than several other brands of tap shoes we've used. --UPDATE -- I got a whole size bigger, and they are a teeny bit big. I suspect a half size smaller would be too tight. It's a tough call! I have those "quarter size" feet, I guess. Toe stands and toe backs make the shoes slide on my feet a bit. But by the end of tap class, my feet are a little swollen so these are working out okay. I just wear thick socks. The Capezios I had before this had a little more padding, especially around the Achilles notch, which I liked, but I wanted to try something new.

Shoe might be good for someone with a narrow foot. I ordered every Bloch and Capezio tap shoe available on Amazon. Audeo was the most comfortable Bloch tap shoe I tried, but Capezio Cadence was much more comfortable.

I wear an 8.5 -9.0 medium ( mostly prefer a 9 in structured and athletic shoes and boots) and I ordered the 10 which fit perfectly and I can wear them with or without socks. I would definitely recommend ordering up a full size for starters because it's most likely that you will need more room given that they are dancing shoes. They seem to be a medium width with a slight tendency to be more on the narrow side of medium. A person with a truly narrow foot may want to order up only 1/2 size vs. full. Aside from the size issue, the leather is very soft, pliable and the shoes mold to my feet very well without binding, pinching or rubbing and there is no breaking in needed. These shoes fit as well as a soft leather glove. Very nice! For added reference info, the insole of the size 10 measures right at 10 inches and my foot measures ( big toe to heel)9 7/8 inches. I believe that size 10 equates to a size 40 eur. Hope that helps

I saw all of the reviews that said these run small, but as I just purchased Bloch's black split sole tap shoes in 7.5M a couple of months ago, clearly Bloch's 7.5M fit me well. I've had great luck with several pairs of Bloch jazz shoes over the years. But these beige audeotones are at least 3/4 of a size smaller. What the heck, Bloch? Your shoes cost too much to be dealing with this kind of inconsistencies.

These are the exact same tap shoes sold at dance stores. Dance shoes fit differently than tennis shoes so it’s important to get your foot fitted prior to ordering else you may end up with the wrong size. There have been no issues with these shoes

This is a lovely shoe once you get the correct size! I made the mistake of not reading the reviews closely enough and ordered only one whole size up (a 9 instead of my normal street shoe size of size 8). I had to return them for the 9.5, which fit perfectly. They seem true to width once you get the correct length. With Amazon's Prime shipping policy, the deliveries/return were quick and painless.

I received my shoes, delivered about 30 minutes ago and one is missing the shoe lace.

The reviews were right. A whole size to small. My daughter has been tapping all summer. Her current shoes fit fine. These are a new brand required for her classes. I bought the same size she has and they were a whole size to small. Had to exchange them for a size bigger. I should have listened to the reviews. Do yourself a favor. Order a size up.

I bought these to replace my fancy split sole shoes that were not so great for rhythm tapping. LOVE LOVE LOVE these. They’re beautifully made, supple leather and soft comfy lining. I’m a UK 5.5-6 depending on the make / brand of shoe. My feet are also narrow and shallow. I ordered a 6 and they are a perfect fit. Delivered ahead of schedule in time for my next class !

Great shoe. I was able to get it on amazon at the time for $75 which is a far better price than I saw everywhere else (normally they are $125). I watched them for a while on Amazon until the price went down to $75.In terms of how the shoe fits I would say to buy .5 to 1 size larger than you normally purchase. They do not fit true to size so if you buy your normal size they will be too small. I normally wear a 9 ladies but I have a really wide foot. My true shoe size is probably more like an 8.5 but I need to go up that extra .5 (to 9) so that my foot is not too crammed. In flip flops as an example I take an 8.5. I ordered a 9.5 and they are perfect with a thin sock. Thick sock they would be too small. So I guess I'd say order 1 size up from your regular shoe size. Or .5 if your regular size is only because you have a wide foot and you can normally go down a half of a size in flip flops. In that case order 1 size up from your flip flop size/.5 from the size you normally get in shoes. For most people though I'd say your safe with just ordering 1 size up than regular. Sorry for the long explanation! I was worried ordering these as I knew they fit small but didn't know exactly what size to get. And I didn't want to send them back.

Shoes were soft, fit as anticipated. Daughter had outgrown a previous Bloch model and we couldn’t find her size at our local dance supply store.

The most comfortable tap shoes I have ever worn, well worth paying for real leather. The taps make a beautiful clear sound.
