Simple and Effective Way to Adjust Flow
I'm very happy with this flow adjuster. It does it's job well. I put it in front of my showerhead and I can use it to easily adjust the water pressure. It's an easy way to stop the water without turning off all the knobs when I want a pause in the water stream. I also like to reduce the water pressure to reduce water usage. It feels sturdy, solid and heavy since it's mostly metal. The valve that adjusts the water pressure rotates smoothly. Given it's price, I think it's a great value and does it's job well. Only time will tell how long it will last but again at its price level VS other far more expensive options, it's simple to just replace if you have to.

High-Quality and Works Perfectly
Excellent quality attachment — solid brass build that feels durable and well-made. The valve operates smoothly with no leaks and gives great control over water flow. Easy to install and fits perfectly with standard shower connections. Definitely a reliable upgrade.

This Water Flow Control Valve works great
I am very pleased with this water flow control valve for water conservation. I read all the complaints before buying and based on my own use, it does not leak when screwed into my hand-held shower head. I was prepared to use plumber's tape, but I did not need it. I even backed the connection off a little so that I could have the full lever range visible from the front where I could see it as opposed to tightening it more but having the lever around the side or back. I got the brushed nickel finish and it matches my shower head very well and it looks like it is part of the shower head. It shuts the water off completely for soaping up and it maintains the water temperature. The lever is easy to move to adjust flow but we will have to see how it works after long use and possible corrosion. The other thing I like is that I can visibly see where the lever is set so I can go to that spot every time and not have to go by "feel". I got the larger lever so that soapy hands are not a problem. There were cheaper ones, but I hope to get long use from this valve.

Happy, works perfectly amd easy to install
Feel so good when you receive a product that has good reviews and it's actually true. This has the feeling of quality and durability. I had to wrap it a few times with Teflon to prevent leakage. This is because my hand held shower head is plastic. Happy with the purchase, the om/off is smooth, quality material and would recommend the purchase. I rarely say these words in a review.

Inexpensive, nice looking, and easy to operate flow control valve
I have a shower that uses the type of valve that only allows you to control the temperature... the volume of water is always at maximum. Sometimes I enjoy standing in the hot water spray for an extended period, so I wanted a way to throttle back the flow after I'm done rinsing off all the soap so it's not quite as wasteful. This inline valve solves the problem pretty well. The control slider is easy to operate, and it gives you fine control over the volume, so you can quickly and precisely adjust the flow rate during your shower. The only negatives I've found are that even at its most wide open setting it can't flow as much water as the pipe it's attached to can. If you've removed the water saver in your shower head, you'll probably see a reduction in maximum flow rate if you install this valve. It's not a huge decrease, but it's noticeable. The the other slight negative is that when you have it set to restricted flow, it produces some noise. I guess the design creates a lot of turbulence when the valve is partially closed. Overall the good outweighs the bad in this valve, and I would buy it again. I like the compact size that makes it less noticeable, and the control slider is easy to operate, even if you have soapy hands. It seems to be well made with quality materials.

Buy better washers and use lots of teflon tape - works great
I bought 3 of these, one for each shower. The showers had too much water pressure which wasted water. I was going to get inline restrictors but I really like how this valve makes it adjustable on the fly. When the girls wash their hair they can go full blast. I don't have much hair so I put mine on medium. Two things for the installation: First, the washer that comes with it is not good quality and I had leaks. I had to use a lot more teflon tape than usual, a lot more. That's point 2 if you weren't counting. One of the washers ripped a bit from overtightening (because the washer wasn't good). I replaced it with one from the hardware store, put it on and instantly no leak. A good washer is really important. Also the threaded part for the end that goes on the wall is not long enough, which makes the washer and teflon tape even more important. Overall this is very heavy duty and works great. Wide open it might be less than 100% but since I am trying to reduce the power of our showers that was fine for me.

Did not leak and solved water pressure issue
Had a plumber try to put in one of those hand held showerheads, but they said it wasn’t working so they put this regular showerhead on but took out the water pressure control saying that it would work better and I’d get better water flow. However, apparently in my house, the water pressure is already wonderful and the showerhead they put in nearly knocked me through the wall when I tried to use it. it also squealed constantly like a teapot that was boiling over. I didn’t want to pay to have them come out again and put in yet another stationary showerhead which they offered as the solution Cause I still want a handheld. So I ordered this little gadget and it’s wonderful. I installed it between the pipe spout and the shower head (yep DIY technical terms). It has made this stationary showerhead usable and allows me to easily adjust the pressure. I have attached a 21 second video with the control value up pretty high and it’s still not squealing and nothing is leaking. It can be put at very low pressure to where it’s almost a trickle and also shut off completely from the shower head so it’s total control of the shower head water pressure. I plan to continue using it when I achieve my final solution glorious handheld showerhead cause it is so cool. Summary: Doesn’t leak easy to install even for a fumbling DIYer such as myself, inexpensive… love this thing.

Good for reducing the aggressiveness of a shower
This is supper easy to use in the shower to slow the flow or even turn it off. It works really well and makes me feel less bad when i take a depressive shower for a half hour if the waters only going half as fast. Also just being able to make my showers less aggressive is nice. I cant believe how handy this little things been. Wish more showers had these!
