MUXXN Women's Vintage 1950s Style Wrap V Neck Tie Waist Formal Cocktail Dress

I like the retro style clothing since they are feminine and stylish. I am so glad for all the women in the reviews which have posted their sizes and what size worked for them. I am 5'4'' about 165-170lbs and wear a size 36F bra. After the reviews i have ordered a medium in black and it is amazing. I do believe for this dress you need some curves to make it look great. It made me feel sexy and elegant. some reviews complained about the cheap and stiff fabric. I think the fabric is nice and thick and just right. I was worried if the fabric was thin and cheap but this dress does not look it. There are many color choices but i believe every girl should have at least one LBD (little black dress) and i am in the process of expanding my wardrobe. The dress worked well with my curves and for ones my bra size was not a problem. I felt elegant and sexy. Pros: The black color looks perfect with the fabric. The fabric is a bit stretchy (very good). It fits greatly over curves and the cleavage is great without being to showy and the fabric can be adjusted and if needed a shawl or brooch can help. Cons: Since the dress is new the zipper is a bit difficult to move past the stitch line at the waist. and you will need help to pull up the zipper to the top. Otherwise, i love the dress and am looking to get more from this company, hoping and expecting the same quality and features.

I ordered the Vintage 1950s Style Wrap V Neck Tie Waist Formal Cocktail Dress in Harbor Blue & was thrilled with the look. You must try it on in order to appreciate the overall look. It doesn't look flattering out of the package. This dress is worth every penny. Great quality & superb value. Shipping is fast & returns are easy. The fit is perfect & very flattering. I purchased a MEDIUM. I am 5'7" & 140lbs (139.5). It is very comfortable as it does have stretch to the fabric. I highly recommend. If you are short, be aware that this dress hits below the knee. I will buy again from MUXXN - I have purchased other dresses from them & have been happy with their customer service. Although, the only downside is this dress arrived in poor presentation - it was all wadded up in a ball leaving it completely wrinkled. I returned it with no issues & ordered another thinking it was only that one particular package (as if somebody had stuffed it back in the bag to return). Sadly my second order arrived in the same balled up wrinkled condition. I kept it & decided to take it to the cleaners in order for it to be professionally pressed. Other dresses I have ordered from them always arrived in perfect non-wrinkled condition, but sadly this one did not arrive in the same pristine condition.

I was looking specifically for a fitted grey dress to wear to an event. I looked high and low online, all my fave stores (Nordstrom et al) and couldn't find what I was looking for. Then I randomly googled "fitted grey dress" and discovered this. Wow! I actually tried 3 different styles from MUXXN, the assymetrical neckline dress (nice but I wanted more of a plunging neckline), the pencil skirt (didn't care for the kick pleats, would have liked a slit) and this one. I absolutely LOVE this dress. 1- The stretch in the fabric is perfect. It hugs you without being uncomfortable 2- For me, the length and proportions were just right (I'm 5'10, 140lbs, size 8). I ordered Medium and Large thinking the Medium would be too tight, but it was great. I have hips and the dress and my hips made it work. So for that, if you're long in the torso or legs, you might find yours to be true to size like I found mine. 3- One thing that bugged me... the ZIPPER. Seems like it has trouble getting past the waistline of the dress. I returned one thinking it was a sewing flaw, but the next dress had that too. You have to be careful zipping it and unzipping it from the waist area. Ended up keeping it and will just be careful as I go along. I can easily see myself getting this dress in more colors as the price is incredible and the fit is great. I recommend!

I got this dress in the color purple. Oh my gosh, I'm in love!!! The only con is, it ran a little big or XS option is needed. This is one of the most flattering dresses I've ever purchased. The material looks expensive. It is well made. I am 5'2, 115 lbs. It ran big in my shoulder/bust area and was loose fitting around the waist/abdomen. I will update this review with a picture when I take one. It's very classy and sexy at the same time. It's perfect for my Daddy's homegoing. This is his favorite color. This dress represents his taste very well. Thank you. And please send me an xs so I can review that Amazon!!!!

The dress is short and tight fitting. You have to press the dress or steams it because of the fold.

The fabric felt like a tarp. The dress looked heavy and was noisy . The condition of the dress was wrinkled and was worn the evidence was the deodorant stains on the underarms. I could not try this dress on because of the disgusting condition

I was in a pinch and needed a “RED” dress asap! Since I didn’t have a moment to spare for shopping I decided to order on line! This was going to be a dress that I probably would only wear once so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it! When the dress arrived I was immediately impressed with the feel of the fabric! Then I tried it on and it fit perfect! I didn’t even have to press it! It was ready to wear out of the box! This is a very sexy dress with the low cut V neck...I choose to use double sided tape to make mine a bit more modest (only because my event called for modesty). I truly thought for around $30.00 I could wear it and then donate it since I don’t wear RED dresses often. However, it is such nice quality I decided to keep to wear through the Holidays! Who would have ever guessed one could purchase a $30.00 dress and have such quality! Highly recommend!
