Ok first off, no one could have ever convinced me that tape would have relieved the pain I've been having in my hip for years. For over a year now it has been non stop and debilitating and causing me massive depression. I bought this tape cuz what did I have to lose, other than a few bucks. I taped my hip before work today and holy Mary mother of Jesus for the 1st time in over a year, I have no pain. None. I cannot believe it!!!! I am in shock! I worked a whole shift and can walk afterward. I feel great! I need to find this in bulk because I'll be taping myself up like an amazon package, everyday for the rest of my life! I've tried bulky braces, heat, cold, stretching, compression, yoga didn't even help and low and behold, tape fixed it. I still can't believe it! Here we are a full week later and I am still pain free. Did you hear me? I AM STILL PAIN FREE!!! This product has given me my life back. Now after working all day at my store, I am able to come home and live a little bit. No more limping to the heating pad and laying about until my next shift. Who would have thought, something as simple as tape, would cure my hip pain. I'm ever sleeping better and I know I am in an overall better mood. If you're contemplating or skeptical, please just try it. For less than $20 you can find out if it will work for you. Of course if you're diabetic or on blood thinners or otherwise unsure, ask your PCP just to be sure it's ok for you to use but, you don't have to live in pain. The days of our only options being pain or narcotics is over. I am so grateful that I found this tape. It's so nice to be able to spend time with my family and do things I enjoy. I want to answer the question I know everyone has, too... No, the pain doesn't get worse when I remove the tape. It has actually helped so much with the inflammation, that when I'm not taped up, I'm not having as much pain as I was before. Edit: 2 months later and it's still working. I still have some breakthrough pain on really rough days but, for the most part, no pain! This tape has given me my life back and I'm still in a shock about it. One thing I will say tho... I believe the breakthrough pain comes from me being much more active. My balance and stamina are so much better that I'm moving more and more. I used to work, come home and move as little as possible. Not anymore. I think once my body gets used to being so much more active, the pain will subside.

I have used KT tape since seeing on Olympics about four back. It works really well. I don’t use braces now I use KT tape. Good quality, adhesive, and support.

This stuff really works!!! First time I was told to put this tape on my back and it would help with the pain, I told them they were crazy. How can tape help my back? I'd never heard of KT Tape before that, and I really wish I had. I can put it on my back, around my knee or down my forearm and the pain will ease up considerably!!! I have prescription pain patches but I will use the KT Tape first. That's how much I trust it. I keep a roll of it in my locker at work and at home. I highly highly recommend!!! You won't be disappointed.

Bought this for my knees to wear under my gi during jiujitsu training. Sometimes it does come off and stick to my gi so that’s why I only gave it 4 stars. When I wear the tape without a gi on it stays on longer. Doesn’t irritate my skin.

It seems to me that there are days when one’s knees feel rather like Eeyore on a rainy morning—stiff, discouraged, and not at all inclined toward adventure. And yet, with a little help, even a weary joint may discover that the Hundred Acre Wood is still worth wandering through. Such was my agreeable experience with these KT Tape original cotton kinesiology strips. The package contains twenty precut 10-inch strips, which is wonderfully convenient for those of us who are not especially interested in wrestling with scissors while already uncomfortable. The tape itself is soft, breathable, and pleasantly stretchy, fitting against the skin in such a gentle manner that one almost forgets it is there at all. Once applied, it stays put remarkably well through long walks, household busyness, and even the sort of energetic activity Tigger would surely approve of. What I appreciated most was the balance between support and comfort. The tape offers a reassuring feeling of stability without making one feel wrapped up like a Christmas pudding. The cotton fabric is kind to the skin, and the adhesive proved dependable without becoming disagreeably stubborn when it came time to remove it. For sore shoulders, tired knees, or muscles that have simply had rather too much excitement for one week, this tape is a cheerful and practical companion indeed. Five stars, and quite deservedly so.

understand that this is an excellent tool for support/protection of sore muscles. it can keep you working out, functioning like normal for a long time (how long depends on the injury). i was without shin splints for decades got them again a few months ago. the tape helped them heal within 3-4 days. but the tape is not a subsitute for PT, and getting the taping right by watching a video can be tricky. still, better than an ace bandage.

It does not completely stick, even on clean, dry skin it rolls on the long edge. I purchased the precut cotton version of this tape. It is THIN. I had high hopes that it would stay on at least a couple of days. It certainly won't last the entire day. I thought the cotton version would have less chance of skin irritation, and so far that seems to be ok. I do feel that it has some support, but I have only had it on an hour and it looks all "tattered and raggie". I can't wear shorts with it looking like this. Next time I will look for a sturdier version and cut it to size so there won't be any waste. UPDATE: I have increased to 3 stars from my original 1 star review. I did leave the tapes on, even when it started to roll up on the long edge. I wore pants over and that seemed to help the tape stick more. I did get some relief and support wearing the tape. I showered and the tape held up. The tape lasted 2 full days of wearing. It is still flimsy. But it did NOT irritate my skin at all. It was easy to remove without pulling my skin or leaving tape marks.

This tape is the best that I have tried. Holds for 3-4 days and is waterproof in the shower. Highly recommend.

Fabulous tape which stayed on for a week and didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Used it on my painful and inflamed knee. I watched a video on how to apply and was far easier to apply than I thought! I have rheumatoid arthritis and suffer flares with various joints. The tape is immensely helpful in self management and allows me to continue to exercise and keep moving during painful flares. For example, my knee was supported and enabled me to use the spin bike and do squats and lunges which I otherwise would not have been able to do without causing injury and increasing inflammation. High recommend.
