It should be double sided. All of them should be. I got the tortilla one as well but mine is double sided.

Yes. The blanket is very soft and really warm. One thing though, put it into he dryer before use there is lots of lint on it.

Is the 80in big enough for a 30 year old man?

Though 30 year old men come in all shapes and sizes, I would say the short answer is yes. I'm 5'6" and it's plenty bug enough.
