Size 10 shoe. 9/10 or 11/12?

I would go up as I wear a size 9 and went with the 9/10 and they fit snug. So go with 11/12

is the lining any part wool?

I returned the item, the sizing is / was WAY off. I wear 10.5 ordered 11/12 . Foot wouldn't fit, not even close. The interior appeared to be faux sheep skin...made in CHINA

I wear an 8, so is ( 7-8) closer to an 8 or a 7??? 9-10 might feel too loose???

Depends on your foot. I am a 12 , but got the 13 - 14 because of my high arch. They are a little loose after extended wear. But I don't think I could have gone smaller and be as comfortable.
