Do the job!
I have metastalgia - painful pads under one foot by toes. This foot takes a lot of pressure. These look so flimsy because they are thin silicone but are a perfect fit and the perforated under pad removes any pain so I can wear my usual shoes. 4 pieces so will last me a long time. I am very pleased with them.

Too fragile.
They look good and fit easily. But the attachments between the toes break easily when putting on your socks. The sock adheres to the material, pulls on the cushion, dislodges it and you then have a cushion somewhere in your arch with either one or both toe straps snapped. They would be much improved if a) the product was stronger and b) a tighter fit. You might be better off with a material metatarsal support with a built-in silicone padded cushion. I kept with it, however, by putting on socks very very carefully! (Do you time for all this?) But they still could break and roll up into a squidgy sausage roll either on the metatarsals or under your foot arch as soon as you pushed your foot into the shoe. The flimsy nature of this product makes them difficult for me to recommend.

Not bad, could be better.
This was the second time I have bought these foot pads, which in itself is a recommendation - I couldn't find anything which looked better. However, they are not ideal. I find that, although they do provide good cushioning for the metatarsal area, within a relatively short time they cause discomfort where the toes meet the foot. If I have not worn the pads for a few days, it might be six hours before this discomfort becomes bad enough to make me take them off; but if I then put them on again the next day, I get the discomfort after an hour or two. To imagine the design of the pad, think of cutting off about six centimetres of a sock (from the toe end, of course). Now make three holes in this imaginary item - one for the big toe to go through, one for the second toe, and one for the rest of the toes. The item slips on by putting it onto the foot and then slipping the toes through the holes. Now if you imagine the item to be made out of very soft plastic, you have a pretty good idea of what the product is like. I am not entirely sure what causes the discomfort that I feel; it may be that the bands of material either side of the second toe are quite wide, and these get squashed, creating pressure points; or it might be that the front edge of the product is not visibly rounded - it is just a square edge, about 2mm high. I should say that although I wear the pads on both feet, they cause little if any discomfort on the right foot. So they might be fine for you; but also the metatarsal problem that I wear the pads for is only very slight on my right foot, which might suggest that if your problem is bad enough to cause you to seek out & wear such pads, they might cause you the same discomfort. There are two pairs in each pack. To try to stop the discomfort described above, I did try cutting off the bits that go either side of the second toe from one of the pads that I bought the first time, but this didn't work very well; it is almost impossible to put a sock on over this cut pad and get it to stay in place. If I were to suggest an amendment to the design, it would be this: extend the lower part of the pad so that it went under the toes as well. The user would probably need to trim this extension to fit. Additionally, shrink the width of the parts which go either side of the second toe. This would no doubt make them rather more expensive, but I think they would then be much more comfortable. Perhaps this could be a "deluxe" version? I wish I could remember how long I have had the first ones I bought for. My guess is 6-12 months. When I compared the first ones I bought to the new ones, I was astonished at how much difference there was; the new ones are much softer. The new ones are pale blue, whereas the old ones are completely colourless. You should bear in mind that if the pads do work for you, you will probably want to buy a new set within a year. Having said that, they are not expensive, and if they do help you, well worth the money. Finally, each pair of pads comes in a sealable plastic bag. These are very useful, particularly if you want to take the pads off during the day and are concerned about odour, but are easy to lose track of. I lost one bag fairly early on, and the second just after I had ordered the new set. If the manufacturers get to read this, one more plea I would make would be to add at least one spare plastic bag in the box.

Not necessarily good value
Very comfortable and certainly help prevent the pain . However a low score is given because the attachment loop breaks very quickly.

Single use - sadly !
Yes they help. Yes they are soft and cushioning. However, break after one use. Roll up when putting socks on. Flimsy upper surface as they lock between toes. No instructions. So, expensive for 4 single use items. Would not buy again.

I wasn't sure but they are amazing
I have been suffering with really bad feet where they are super tight and achey and after a day of walking on them I could barely work. My partner (sports physiotherapist) suggest to get some pads to wear on my feet. None of the comments on the results were the best so I took my chances with these! I've worn them for 2 days and I've noticed an amazing difference, it's nice to not be in pain! I don't know if this is a short term fix or if they'll work for a long time but for now I'm super happy with these. Really easy to give a quick wash end of every day. I will say they are a little funny to walk in until you get use to them, a little sliddy but I work with no shoes (baby room) so found I had to rearrange them a couple times but if you're wearing shoes they are great. 100% recommend.

Waste of money
Do not waste your money on this product. I bought these HOPING to ease the constant pain in the ball of my feet. I work 8+hours a day and I’m a warehouse worker so I’m walking constantly. The balls of my feet ache and burn which make it very uncomfortable for me. I was so pleased to FINALLY find something to ease this problem only to have them break after about 1 week of work 😡 and they DO NOT stay in place as they tend to roll up to the toes and have now given me a blister which has made walking now even more painful. Sending back for refund

Finally, Someone Who Knows Morton's
I've suffered months. I have the perfect trifecta: super wide toe base, extra high arch and a love of speed-skating and downhill mogals since I was 12. I squeezed my fat feet in so many boots and the adrenaline let me endure the pain until my feet froze. XX off the Matterhorn in my 50s. I was surprised it didn't show up sooner (72). I was amazed at the Morton solutions that don't accommodate an extra wide toe base. There are no commercial metatarsal pads, even the ones I initially bought on line were for heal support. I finally ran across these and thank the Lord I did. I will not get surgery, I will get shots when I need to use the foot, but otherwise these gel pads, a good sock, and the widest toe box (XXW) I could find in a sneaker should have me walking pain free for a while. The pads are thin and flimsy, and rollup in your sock putting it in a shoe and taking off, but you learn a knack. Come two pair to a box. They feel flimsy in our hands, my my feet thought they were floating atop bowls of jelly, and it's their opinion I care about. Every podiatrist should have these pads available to Morton's Neuroma sufferers.
