Our Schlage touch keypad died one day after about 3 months of use and 1 or 2 battery changes. Despite swapping new batteries, the deadbolt remained dead. There was an issue with the battery pack. Lock would work with battery holder was pulled up a bit but not fully inserted in the unit. Unfortunately the cover would not close in that higher position. I tried a foam cushion at the bottom of the pack to lift it a bit. Nada. Some other reviewer mentioned a short in the battery pack. I ordered this 2 pack. Swapped out the old Schlage battery pack with the new. Lock has worked perfectly for 7 months now with the upgraded battery holder replacement. It took 2 minutes to install, I have a spare pack if needed, and this product solved a common problem with the deadbolt unit. I hope this helps.

We have become dependent on our AI's, auto this and auto that. Our Schlage touchscreen lock is no exception- especially with the feature of locking and unlocking from another app no matter where you are...until all of a sudden you can't. You think it's only the batteries until you see a broken connection in the battery holder due to corrosion. I ordered this 2-pack battery holder with my fingers crossed. It arrived from Amazon the next day (THANK YOU AMAZON!!!), and took under 30 seconds to put the batteries in and snap it back into place. And then voila!!! It fit and worked perfectly. We are back in business. For the record, our Schlage lock is: Connect Camelot Touchscreen Electronic Deadbolt with Built-in Alarm and Z-Wave Plus Technology Model:BE469ZPCAM619. From what I understand, these battery holders fit all of the Schlage locks except for Interconnect locks, I believe.

After watching dozens of troubleshooting videos for my Sentry safe, this was ordered as a last resort as it had become increasingly difficult to open and finally refused to open at all. All videos mentioned replacing batteries, jams and incorrect passwords, not one suggested replacing the battery module itself. This small, inexpensive part arrived in one day, and was exactly what was needed. Safe is working perfectly again, and because it was a two-pack I have a spare in the event I need to replace it again.
