Understanding these brake lines.
So I saw all the reviews talking about how these lines are barely longer than stock yet they are sold as a 4-6" lift compatible brake lines. That inconsistency almost caused me to pay much more for different brake lines. I have only done the front BTW. The reason why these work for a lifted jeep, yet they are not much longer than stock is because you are supposed to relocate where the brake line run is. You can run these directly to the mount point instead of running them where the stock lines are run which goes under the shock through that little bracket. By running them directly to the mount point you gain a lot of extra length, likely enough for a 6" lift I'm guessing. To do this right you have to also move that wire that comes from the hub to the other side of the shock so it's next to the relocated brake line. If you move it the lines can support each other. You might have to tie wrap them together. Now that you have everything lose behind the shock you are in danger of your lines being crushed in the shock or spring when fully compressed. So you have to buy brake line anchors to prevent that from happening. Unless you don't mind losing all brake power in an incline. Brake line relocation brackets are not recommended or necessary for anything less than a 6" lift but the anchors are. This is not safe without the anchors.

Not for 6โ lift.
Good quality. Says for up to 6โ lift but I only have a 4โ lift and canโt go anymore.

Really nice lines super cheap
These are really nice lines and they were super cheap! I love them, and my old ones were bad. These were a fraction of the cost of OEM or even the parts store ones.

To short AND miss labelled!
To short... 2015 Wrangler stock no lift is what I needed and thought I bought BUT what I got were for 4=6 lift??? Idk but still to short, see Pic of original vs these. I assumed the actual Rough Country store would have a decent product, even if was less expensive, I ASSuMed it would work, lol. Technically if these were for a 4 - 6" lift, they should be much longer than the stock and even to long, so just plain wrong in so many ways, especially since I was doing it as a repair so waited to have delivered but then still went to local parts store 3 days later. In the image they don't even extend past the metal elbow of the stock. And my dumb@$$ didn't check before so changed them twice,

Check your brake line lengths.
Disappointing. BEWARE. These are quoted as extended length for a lifted vehicle. The rears are o.k being approximately 620mm (24.4") long, which is about 85mm (3.3") longer than the standard line. The fronts are only 650mm (25.6") which is 125mm (4.9") SHORTER than the standard front brake lines. These are not suitable for a lifted vehicle of any height. They are barley adequate for a standard height vehicle. (For ref my vehicle is a 2013 Wrangler JKU, 2.5" lift). Otherwise the quality appears fine. These get plenty of positive reviews online, presumably these people are using them on standard height jeeps and get away with the shorter length on the front.

Perfect on my 2013 Jeep JK
Next time you replace your brakes, replace your brake lines with these. Superior braking, beyond anything you have imagined driving with the factory brake lines that expand and contract. These lines are solid and they look nice too.
