Alessi DC06/3 - Designer Espresso Coffee Maker, Cast Aluminium, 3 Cups, Grey, 15 cl

Such a delight to unpack the Alessi because it is so precisely designed with quality, design and use in mind. I took my time to watch the videos on how to make the perfect cup of coffee and loved the way the demonstrator handled the Alessi with such loving care. I followed suit and took my time to prepare my first cup and wow - a great success! Needless to add I can highly recommend this beautiful moka pot - the coffee it produces is devine!

I wish it was 180ml rather than 150ml. That would be the perfect coffee shot for a mug with milk foam. It's a nice design but one big flaw. It's silent so you don't hear when the coffee is ready. I've used it twice and it's annoying me honestly. I wish I'd just stuck with Bialetti

This espresso maker is made of high quality materials and is designed and put together really well. The the thread and the seal where the pot comes apart are both robust and leak-proof which makes it easy to use. There's no hissing and spitting as the pot heats up. The spout delivers coffee to the cup effectively with no spills to the side. There is also a well thought out thumb lever for the lid which allows you to hold the pot and operate the lid single handed. The size I opted for was the 3 shot pot which is ideal for me, I like to use a mug with equal amount of hot milk and z spoonful of honey! Delicious.

Excitedly accepted a package today containing this and was disappointed at the quality at first glance, has scratch marks all over which didn’t come off after washing. Yet to try it out and undoubtedly the coffee making itself won’t be affected by the scratches however if this was a gift I’d be inclined to return it.

Bought this during a recent Prime Day and I am very happy with it. Very thick aluminium. Excellent quality and makes tasty coffee very quickly. Easy to clean.

well designed and thought out

Excelente cafetera...no gotea y el café sabe bien.

En complément de l’Alessi 3 tasses aussi ( gauche sur la photo), celle-ci est plus petite ( en largeur): transport facilité pour qui se déplace avec sa Moka. Nettoyage facilité du fait même de sa largeur et de son couvercle plat. Poignée très inclinée donc pratique pour les speedés maladroits ou distraits car jamais brûlante. J’utilise les 2. Niveau café bonne qualité, peut-être légèrement inférieure à celle de gauche, beaucoup plus chère mais choisie pour sa fermeture clippée avec disque réducteur ( 1 à 3 tasses à volonté). En résumé cela étant c’est la meilleure qualité prix d’Alessi et plus simple d’utilisation et nettoyage. Enjoy

Es genial para una tasa de Café ☕

Si buscas algo diferente al icónico diseño de la Bialetti clásica, adelante. Quería compararla con la Bialetti Rainbow en cuanto a forma y peso. La quiero para llevar en viajes en bicicleta con alforjas. La de Bialetti Rainbow pesa lo mismo, 410 g. Pero la Alessi se mucho mejor: más bajita, la tapa plana es muy útil y el mango de plástico, que es un punto peligroso cuando se hace el café en un hornillo, es mucho mejor en la Alessi porque está orientado hacia fuera. El volumen de las dos es idéntico y los respuestos (el filtro y la junta de goma) son intercambiables. Le doy cinco estrellas porque me encanta el diseño y la construcción.
