Perfect Fitness Ab Carver Roller Wheel With Built In Spring Resistance, At Home Core Workout Equipment

I’ve been using one of those cheap basic ab wheels for years. They get the job done but I always felt like I was cheating the movement or stopping short because the wheel felt unstable when I pushed out too far. Someone finally told me to stop being cheap and try this one and honestly I wish I’d switched sooner. The first thing you’ll notice is how much wider this is. It doesn't tip over or wobble when you’re extended which gave me the confidence to actually reach all the way out. The spring resistance isn't just a gimmick. It adds a bit of tension on the way out so you don't just collapse and then it gives you just enough assist to get back up without straining your lower back. Because I can finally get a full extension now I’m feeling muscle soreness in spots my old wheel never even touched. It’s that deep core ache that tells you it’s actually working. Pros Stability: This thing is built like a tank. It’s much wider than the generic ones so you stay balanced. The Stretch: I’m finally hitting a full range of motion. Grips: They’re actually comfortable for your hands and wrists. Cons Storage: Just a heads up that it is big. It doesn't just disappear into a drawer like the small ones do. If you're serious about core work this is an amazing device. It turned a stale exercise into something I actually feel the next morning. If you're struggling with your form on a basic roller just get this. It’s worth the extra few bucks.

I was a bit cautious from the depth of discussion of 1 star comment, as that's the first place I look for got-ya advert omissions. Still, 4+5 stars topped 90% of buyers, so I tried it. When I received the unit, I was very impressed with the design. As an Engineer, I see a lot of suboptimal designs. Too dang many with big brags, smiling marketing mannequin stock photos that never saw/used the product. Not the case here. Just the opposite. The spring snap/lock lets the handles go on quickly/easily and are shaped very ergonomically. The extra wide wheel is very stable and spreads your weight well enough that it didn't even leave a track in my office carpet which was one of my ordering concerns. The non-mar wheel tread has good friction and should work well on even smooth, dry surfaces. The steel thickness is substantial with a good chrome job. First use was comfortable and I can see myself gradually stretching out further as I build up. Spring resistance is designed to a moderate level and should be no difficulty for beginners. UPDATE: Been using the AB Carver for a few months now and have found it to show good results in firming up the belly with only 25 five foot rolls each morning. At 73 I'm not looking for a six pack, but reduction of the front flab/soft belly was most welcome. Heck, maybe a four pack might still be on the table. LOL ... good device. Highly recco. No negative points on this review. Highly recommended all around.

This is an excellent product. There are several that look quite similar, except for coloring, and I presume work the same way. The one I bought was a good value, relative to the others, and works flawlessly. I like the easy snap-on handles, it's rolling stability, and the comfortable ergonomic handle grips. It works great for my home gym, but when I took it on the road, it felt a little bulky for easy carrying. So I use it exclusively at home, and really appreciate the spring-loaded action. Someone mentioned in an earlier review, that it may not rewind fully on the return leg? I haven't experienced that appreciably. But, it can be addressed by giving it a slight roll before placing it in the starting position, or on the return leg, just lift up briefly and place it back down in the starting position. Overall, a great product for a seriously good exercise. My abdominals have never felt stronger nor looked more defined.

I know this abs roller from many ads. Recently, I joined a gym club with an abs roller, so I deiced to buy a one for myself. I have to say it is a good roller with great durability. However, it does not work for me!!! The reason is quite simple: the range of its resistant spring too short. I am only 5'10. When I use it to do the so-called "expert" form in its instruction, I can reach the limit. I can hear the spring click noise clearly from the roller. OK>>>it is the case, I do the workout when I am kneeling. If I want to stand by and use it to do the full Roll-Out, this roller totally keeps cliclking all the way. SO................................IF you are taller than 5'10 and have a strong core. Please DO NOT buy it. It is only for beginer use in my option.

A friend of mine had one and brought it into work one day so I tried it out. He was astonished that I was in good shape for my age as I was able to take it all the way out do the obliques. But, even though I was able to do that I wanted to have something at home to be able to maintain. This does the trick alright and only strengthens my core more. I am by no means a work out junkie, but I like to maintain my body and look good. This is a great tool to do so, where so many men now days need it. Well worth the money for your home gym. Mine consists of this Ab Carver, bands and tube bands in addition to my gym membership.

My first Perfect Fitness Ab Carver Roller came with a knee pad and was burgundy in color on the sides. I bought it in 2015 and the spring action finally gave out late July 2018 (laster over 3 years). I paid $40 for that one. This Perfect Fitness Ab carver Roller has the white sides, no knee pad, which I have a black foam work out mat anyways, and I still love it. Price was $26.99. The wide wheel is the best design and helps you keep your balance when moving forward and backward. I work out daily, so I'm not a beginner, so I use my ab well daily and it's truly awesome!

Very happy with it. Works as expected. Probably would have sprung for the pro if it wasn't a weird color. I read a review that complained about the sound it makes when using. It isn't loud. Works great. Recommend for the price.

I had high hopes for this thing. I thought by buying it, I would have abs in a few days. I’m here to tell you I don’t have abs in a few days. But this thing will make you sore. Just so you know that’s what’s supposed to happen when you work muscles and this one gets to ones that all the crunches in the world don’t get to. I do really like it a lot. It’s a lot more comfortable and easier to use than the cheap ones.

Works as it should, price was better than elsewhere .

This investment was the best investment I have ever done in my life. You pay one payment of $42 and you will own it for ever; it is really easy to use and very practical. It really shape your ab and less then one year you will get 6 packs. If you want to get faster 6 packs than you might consider to go to a liquor store and get a 6 packs, LOL.
