Revised EDIT: I've had this for 2-1/2 years and I'm still singing it's praises. Just one challenge I finally figured out: The velcro head's surface is textured with little spokes that the scrubber pads attach to with velcro. The velcro leaves behind a little residue each time and eventually, the scrubber pads cannot cling tightly. I get some results by increasing pressure a bit, but there's a limit to that. There is a lot of advice on the internet for removing velcro ADHESIVE, but that's not the problem here. It is the fibers of velcro itself and they are quite stubborn, but they are not adhesive. I still consider this one flaw in the design--or perhaps, one flaw in instructions for the consumer (non-existent in English). I found a solution and figured I should share. It's something like cleaning a hairbrush: Take a large safety pin under a bright light and dig a little to get under the velcro. As you pull it up, have a pair of tweezers handy to fully pull clumps away that cling together. I happen to have multiple tweezers around (pointy end and flat end) and both helped. I'd still buy another of these. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I can't yet really judge durability. But this is so fabulous, that that is almost irrelevant. If I have to buy a new one each year, that would be a small price to pay. (More often? I'd probably buy it.) I began in the stall shower, but I have no doubt whatsoever about its potential. I have never looked forward to cleaning (and really noxious cleaning) with such enthusiasm. I think my next projects will be oven racks and a window fan. Then there's that yucky baseboard. But who knows? There's really no stopping me now.

Ordered mine, and was quite surprised to get it a full week before the estimated date of delivery... especially since it was shipped to the U.S. from Japan! So far, I find it's helpful with getting into small spaces, and saves the stress on my hand/wrist joints, as compared to cleaning with a toothbrush. As for the complaint about instructions being in Japanese, I found the written material unnecessary, just by inspecting the unit: 1) The brush heads detach by twisting and pulling off, from the handle ; 2) Unit pulses off/on, by pressing the power button and holding down until released, OR slide the switch upwards to keep the brush continuously on; 3) To replace the 4 AA batteries, press the little black rubber dot inward at the front center bottom of the handle(directly above the black dot on the white plastic end cap), while pulling the white cap away from the handle. My only issue has been that the (yellow) scrubber pad shredded away from its velcro attachment, upon its first use. I had some trepidation if the extra attachment packs and replacement scrub pads of the Scrubbing Bubbles brand would work. They do, which makes me wonder if all these sonic cleaners are made by the same manufacturer, for different name brands.

I bought this to help me scrub off dust and dirt in corners & quarter round edges of the wood floor of my newly purchased 100 year old house. I've only used it once so far but it seems to work well for this and imagine being able to use it for other detail cleaning. It's made well and not flimsy. However HUGE ANNOYANCE is that all of the directions are in Chinese (no English or any other languages). There are little drawings that show how to put in batteries, etc. It's not at all that complicated to figure out how to use it. and there are arrows on the device to indicate turning directions to remove & change heads. But since I don't read Chinese (don't think many US purchasers do) and there are 6 different type of cleaning heads I would like to know the recommended use and don't use on... for each type of head - and there is enough printed copy to be sure that's what written in Chinese. I would suggest that Amazon make it a requirement for there vendors to have directions included in the languages where the products are sold.

Wonderful product! I used it to clean the grease and grime from my stovetop and over-the-range microwave and I plan to use it to clean the grout in my kitchen and bathroom tiles. I like how it comes with different attachments and batteries are included. Even though the packaging and instructions are in Chinese, it’s not even necessary to read them. It’s easy to figure out how to work the device on your own. The only complaint I have is that it’s noisier than I had expected but it’s tolerable. Overall, this makes scrubbing so much easier with little effort! I wish I had bought this product sooner!

The item comes with everything you see here, plus with batteries that are already installed. However, the scrubber isn't much more powerful than a electric toothbrush. It has about the same amount of torque on it as well. Also it doesn't osculate liked I'd hoped. it behaves just like a standard electric toothbrush does, by moving the bristles in a back-and-froth motion. It would have more of an effect if it would be in a osculate motion. You see, the reason why toothbrushes don't osculate, is because if they did, they'll cause immense damage to the gums, no matter how soft the bristles are, it'll still cause severe damage to the gum-line. The soft tissue of the gums will get caught in the bristles and will be torn apart. Osculation, (spinning motion) has more of a deeper clean to hard surfaces, which is what I really needed to clean the corners of my bathroom. The tough grit and grim are to tough for an old electric toothbrush, plus, an old electric toothbrush doesn't have those narrow heads (like you see in the pic) to get into those hard to reach places, and CLR will melt the paint off the wall. The instructions, you might as well throw out, it's all in Chinese. So unless if you're willing to learn a new language just for the sake of reading a pamphlet of instructions, throw it away. Now, I'm not trying to slam this product, the thing actually works, just not the way I'd hoped. This product is NOT for brushing your teeth with, OK? In fact, they should but that in BOLD print right on the front label. If they'd did that, this thing might have osculate, and be able to get the job done.

I decided to purchase the Sonic Scrubber after a recommendation from one of my favorite YouTubers, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I had originally purchased this primarily to help me clean the mold & gunk from the shower tiles, but after seeing how easy it was to use & how many different cleaning heads there were, I decided to try it out on other places of my house as well. And so far, it’s been a god send. While it does still take some elbow grease - especially if the area/item is particularly grimy - and it does take a bit of trial and error to find the right head for the job, it still makes cleaning a lot easier than manual scrubbing alone. So far I’ve used in on my shower tiles, around the base of my faucets, and even when I’ve needed to fully wash the litter boxes - and every single time it’s probably cut my cleaning time in half. The only con I have is the noise. It is a bit noisy - and probably shouldn’t be used if you have little ones asleep - but I’m guessing that could just be attributed to how powerful it is. All in all, a wonderful tool for cleaning that I highly recommend.

Over the years, I've lost a lot of strength in my hands, so I'm not able to really scrub things like I used to. I finally gave in and ordered the Sonic Scrubber, and now I wish I had done this a lot sooner. First of all, it comes with batteries in it, which is a nice touch. I tried it on an area that had a gunky build up which I just wasn't able to get clean, and it worked! I had to scrub, rinse, and scrub again in order to get rid of all of it, but it's gone now, and I couldn't be happier. I also got the extension holder, plus a package that included a larger brush for my bathtub, so I'm all set. This is a great product, and a real time saver.

The product itself is 3 stars. I've bought one similar product 10 yrs ago and that came with a 2 smaller heads of half inch dia (soft and hard). These are the most used heads, that are missing in this product. Came with 4 batteries, could try it straight out of the box. The only reason to buy this product is to minimize/eliminate fatigue in palm and fingers when scrubbing & cleaning. Now this is a deal breaker: The power button is a press type: meaning you have to keep holding it down for it to operate!!! And it is a hard/push on the button - which is outright PAINFUL - even when I tried it for 10 seconds. Not sure if it is a design flaw or a defective product, I feel it is the former. (other similar products have this specified as "pulse or continuous mode") Didn't bother using for any cleaning, went ahead and returned ASAP. Also the vibration compared to the previous product is intense, leaves the palm hand tingling. Not that one needs instructions to use this product, but the product & instruction page was completely in an oriental language. Zero english. At least we could've established if it is a design flaw or defective switch. Even the product listing on Amazon is minimal, and this is tagged as "Amazon's choice". Always scrutinize more if that is the case. What did I do (and I was all ready to use this product for a household cleaning job that I had lined up): I had recently bought a 4 pack oral-B rechargeable toothbrush set (for my whole family), after using one for 3 yrs. So I just retired my old one for household cleaning! and bleached the old toothbrush heads to use for cleaning. Does the job!

Love this little tool and the attachments. Tired of scrubbing bathroom grime? This is the tool for you. A powerful little AA battery-powered motor (not rechargeable). The additional heads are excellent to expand how you use it. My favourite bathroom cleaning tool.

Do clean bathroom wall tiles and shower screen easily. Brush bristles are tough and brushing dirt off the grout easily. For the price, I find it worth it as cleaning the tiles in a short time without wrist fatigue.

細かく使えるので、いろいろなところを綺麗にできて大満足。音はうるさいが、それが逆に汚れと戦えている実感のような満足感がある。

ベランダの床や壁が砂が雨で固まって水を流しても取れないので使いました。簡単に綺麗になったので満足です。小さなベランダなので小型ブラシだけれどなんとか。 ただ、電動ドリルくらいの大きな音が出るのでマンション住まいの方はちょっと使えないかもと思います。
