Great overall product from Acure. You can tell they use high quality ingredients and the smell is very pleasant. I was looking for a fine particle facial exfoliating scrub like the one I love from Trader Joe's, so I had high hopes for this one. The texture of this scrub was not fine and delicate enough for me. If you are looking for a true gentle/fine particle scrub, look elsewhere. Did not irritate my sensitive and eczema prone skin however. If you like a scrub that's slightly more heavy duty, this could work for you.

Has a great texture for a facial scrub and a small amount goes a long way. I recommend using it in the shower instead of at night over the sink. It needs to be well rinsed off but if you do that it leaves your skin soft and smooth

When I tell you this scrub improved my skin in one use. I rarely leave reviews, I am not an influencer, and not aspiring to be, just an average girl crying into the mirror every day. I needed a scrub and stumbled upon this one. The price was great so I thought why not, I’ll try another product I’ll hate. Literally ONE wash with this and my face was noticeably so much softer and clearer. I could legitimately feel AND see the difference. Embarrassingly enough I also had some breakouts happening on my back, so I thought why not try it and once again ONE scrub down with this later and the breakouts are actually done the next day. Plus this is a cruelty-free brand which is VERY important to me. I will absolutely be purchasing this again and looking into their other products.

This ACURE scrub delivers every time. The grit level feels just right to me and it hasn't caused any irritation so far, which matters a lot since my skin can be sensitive. I'm mindful that gritty scrubs can sometimes lead to micro tears if overused, so I space it out to every few days rather than daily, and that balance has worked really well for my skin. It's become a staple in our household, and I liked it enough that I've gotten friends to add this ACURE scrub to their own skincare routines too. My only real complaints are more about the packaging than the formula itself. I wish ACURE offered this scrub in a travel size because I'd love to bring it with me when I travel, but the consistency is thick enough that it doesn't transfer well into travel size bottles. The other small annoyance is that my bottle always seems to trap water and product between the lid and the bottle threads, no matter how quickly or carefully I close it, so I've learned to be cautious when opening it since there's usually some excess residue built up there. Neither of these issues affects how well the scrub actually performs, but they are things I've had to work around.

I am all about protecting the barrier etc. But as someone who lived through the 1990s and loved a good apricot scrub back in the day, this is not only extremely satisfying, but really refreshes my skin. Sometimes you just need a good physical scrub AND I leave this sitting on my face a bit longer to allow the ingredients to work their magic. It can be messy, so I tend to put this on before I get in the shower and then rinse it off in there. I feel like my skin gets a reset and then the other products absorb and interact with my face better. If you have super sensitive skin, this product with bigger granules is probably not for you, but I HIGHLY recommend it if you miss the old 90s apricot experience, this is a WAY better ‘elevated’ experience with ingredients my skin just seems to love. Because I have been using this product for years, I have experienced a few ‘blow outs’ in Amazon delivery where the top opens during shipment. So I tend to order this item on its own so it’s not packaged with other products.

Actually I didnt know I was buying a scrub because the packaging is exactly the same as the cleansing gel. So I tried it for the first time but it turned out great. Very fine scrubbing and leaves a smooth after effect.
